I joined my friend and her two girls the following day, after their first night there and she had been bitten all over by bedbugs. Upon inspecting the bed, bugs were seen crawling along the joins of the mattress. The relatively new member of staff moved us to another hotel however after further communication with the management team, no refund was given for the booking and money for medication (which was promised) was not reimbursed.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Great value for money and perfect location. You’re very much left to yourselves once checked in but any problems someone is always contactable on the phone (which we didn’t need). We were met by someone on a golf buggy at the gates of the old town who took us and the luggage the short ride to the hotel (this was late at night so much appreciated). The room was perfect for a family of four - air conditioned and good beds. The bathroom could have done with a bit of attention as looks tired with some mould but for the cost of the hotel and the fact we were only there for two nights it wasn’t a problem. A nice roof terrace to go in the morning and the location is unbeatable if you want to explore the old town. Would definitely use it again.

My room did not have a window. It was clean but smelled of bleach, so sleeping would have been impossible there. My complaint was met with surly shrugs by the staff member. Top location, but I walked away and sacrificed the money I had paid. Surely a room without a window is illegal? Very much not impressed!

Very nice location in old Town. Our room was very small and I needed to construct a tower of luggage and books to ensure that my current adapter would stay in the outlet. You are requested to contact the hotel when you are in a cab and then again when you reach the location so we had to wait with our luggage after a lengthy flight, with four other guests for more than 20 minutes after arrival at the property for someone to arrive to let us i. They could had been there after we called from the cab. Inconsiderate. But that being said, the location is excellent

Booked a “budget room” for 1 night. Room was clean but bathroom floor constantly wet ? where from. Location was excellent. Major issue was that the room had no windows! It was a small room & lack of natural light made it claustrophobic & I did not enjoy waking up in the pitch black.

It cost me a mere EUR 30 a night but I see from this site that I could have got it cheaper here. Only drawback - it's in the old town which is a horrible tourist trap. Avoid Rhodes altogether and if you must visit stay in the old town and just stay 1 night.

The Spot is an accommodation located in the historic center of Rhodes, a few steps from the square of the Jewish Martyrs, in a characteristic residential context, with medieval-style furniture and furnishings, with a terrace, and a very nice internal garden with tables and benches where you can drink a coffee (provided in the rooms) The bad thing is the really uncomfortable spring mattresses.
