What can I say? I can’t find a thing negative to say about this hotel! 5* location - only a few steps to all restaurants and bars ! 5* service - the staff couldn’t have done any more for you if they tried. Great family atmosphere. Lovely, lovely friendly people. Always a genuine welcome no matter what time. There was not one who wasn’t extremely pleasant. 5* food - we only had breakfast but the selection was phenomenal and anything we had was very tasty. 5* pool area - the pool was just perfect and no matter when you arrived you could get a sun-bed. 5* comfort - ok, rooms are a bit old fashioned but they were extremely large with plenty of space, extremely clean (immaculate) and the beds were super comfy. Also plenty of hangers - which makes a change. I would go back in a minute and can’t recommend enough.

First week of our stay at this hotel another week to go. Room nice ,clean towels and bedding . Pool great . Jo and staff can’t do enough for you. Food is fab . Do not believe negative reviews especially the recent 1 star. He obviously has an axe to grind and non of his negative comments are true. Already looking at booking again for next year for our family of 5 . I would 100% recommend this friendly family run hotel .

Having been to Rhodes many many times, we have always stayed in or close to the beautiful Rhodes town in the lovely big 5* all inclusive hotels that provided entertainment for the children etc. This year was the first year we could take a holiday out of the school holidays as my youngest daughter has just finished Year 11 so an early July holiday was sought away from the all inclusive - we just wanted to go authentic/rustic and to stay somewhere different on the Island where we could choose our own restaurant every evening, get up when we wanted to and not be restricted to meal times. The Summer Memories is all you could ask for and more. If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet, calm, relaxing holiday, look no further. There was always a sunbed, even when getting down to the pool at 11am. The studio apartment in which we stayed was extremely spacious, plenty of storage for your clothes, coat hangers a plenty and a small line on the balcony with pegs (I left some behind for next time!). The food served is exceptional and always served with a smile from Jo. Stavros and Tsambika the owners are just amazing and make fabulous cocktails. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all. The Summer Memories is a good hour and 20 minutes from the airport but well worth it, you won't be disappointed. Supermarket right opposite and lots of authentic restaurants, Lambis, Harmony and Lorenzos were excellent. This is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet and have older children. Nearby beaches are excellent, sandy and clear although the sunbeds are quite pricey (approx 20 euros for the day) so it was nice to have the pool at the hotel. Nick at Marathon rent a car (also opposite hotel) was also very helpful and has plenty of cars to choose from. We are now booking up for next year and taking the extended family with us. Don't hesitate to book Summer Memories.

A small family Run business the owners and the staff was amazing so friendly and helpful great location near the main ***** few lively bars but not too crazy in our group. There was 20 of us and we all had an amazing time.

Lovely helpful owners, great location, spacious modern rooms, lovely pool, a plus with padded sunbed covers. The supermarket is just across the road and it’s well stocked The room was hot but not unbearable so I didn’t pay the 65 euros for aircon. Just 15 for a tabletop fan which was ideal. I’d definitely return as it’s good value, the housekeeping lady worked relentlessly cleaning everything all day every day it seemed. She did a fabulous job.

Just come back from a wonderful week staying at Summer Memories ❤️ We arrived in the early hours, due to delayed flight, room was left open as every where was closed. We opened the door to a large spacious room with one double bed and a single bed. Basic self catering equipment in kitchen area and a large wet room with lovely powerful shower. Settee, TV & hairdryer even though I used my own. Patio with table & 2 chairs looking over the front of the hotel and a small washing line. Next morning we met Stavros and team and everyone was amazing and always on hand to help. Jo behind the bar and serving food was always so smiley & courteous and nothing was ever too much, even when I accidentally dropped 2 glasses. Plenty of sun beds & umbrellas to hand, anytime of the day. The pool was always inviting, it was a little cold to begin with, but nice and refreshing from the hot greek sun 🌞 We had breakfast most mornings, lots to choose from on the menu and reasonable We also ate lunch there on the odd day and couldn’t fault anything. We often chilled in the afternoon in the bar area overlooking the pool with a cold beer or cocktail. Mango daiquiri was amazing and cooled me down 🍹 We met some wonderful people and would definitely recommend to stay here. We will definitely return here. 💖 We’ve made lots of fantastic memories here at Summer Memories xxx ❤️
