Anixis Hotel & Apartments

Wednesday 12th June and we stayed here as an overnight stop, arranged by Olympic Holidays. In the morning we were catching the ferry to the island of Halki. We had spend the night here before and on our arrival were warmly welcomed back by the friendly owner, Glynis and the two guys behind the bar David and George. As we waited to check in we ordered a couple of bottles of cold Mythos beer, €4 each, very reasonable for hotel prices. Once all the formalities were completed we were shown to our ground floor room. It was actually a suite with two double bedrooms, bith with balconies, a well equipped kitchen and a dining area, impressed. As we arrived a bit late in the evening, we decided not to walk to the town to find a restaurant for dinner, we stayed and ate here. We ordered a couple of gyros, a Greek Salad and two more beers. The food when served was tasty and very filling, enjoyable. After dinner we sat at the bar for a night cap and spent some time talking to the two extreemly pleasant guys working there. We paid extra charge of €8 for the air-conditioning which was worth it as it was a hot and muggy night. There was also a safe in the room, there was  an additional charge for that, we did not need one for the night. After a good night's sleep in our comfortable bed it was time to check out and wait for our pick-up. In the morning we met Caroline, the human tornado, head cook and bottle washer,  who prepared two coffees for us, along with a lengthy chat. We returned here on rather 26th June, this was were we waited to be picked up and transferred to the Airport later in the evening. During our time here we were able to use the pool, restaurant, bar, pool and other facilities. Would rate this Hotel, the staff and our experience here as very good +.

Friendly and helpful team made our stay very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Location was ideal, five minutes walk to beach. Accommodation was very good, clean and comfortable with all we needed provided. Good choice of local restaurants nearby and good food available at Anixis. Would happily recommend to friends and would love to visit again.

We really, really did appreciate everything that was associated with this hotel. We had a top floor 2 bedroom apartment which was so private. Cleaners were brilliant. Caroline was a hard-working, thoughtful, polite lady. My wife started with a chest infection, and Anice, the owner, drove Beverly to the chemist and got her some antibiotics. What a star. If you like friendly people and want to feel like your part of the family then this is the place for you Staff are amazing here day and night Caroline made my holiday shes great in every way and the lads dave n george behind the bar are great lads they really go out there way to make you stay great and there ready to help with anything you need. Lovely breakfast served here by caroline too Also rooms are nice clean fresh and roomy All in all just a lovely place full of the best people Cant wait till next year to go back Also a massive thankyou to the owner who really went out her way to fit us in at short notice and made us very welcome as she does with all guests from what i seen.

Just returned from my second visit to the Anixis Apartments, and once again, received a wonderful, warm welcome. The rooms, bar and pool area are all spotlessly clean; the food is great; and every visitor is made to feel special. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Put all of this together with the idyllic setting of Ialyssos, and you have the recipe for a perfect holiday!

Arrived home 2 days ago. My first time there. Found all the staff friendly, welcoming & accommodating, especially Glynis, George & David. The apartment was clean & friendly & pool was maintained well. I enjoyed talking to all the other friendly guests & made lifetime friends. I would definitely go back again & recommend this apartment.
