Small, exceptionally clean, peaceful and very friendly. The owners and staff do everything possible to make your stay a fabulous experience and make you feel part of the family, including taking us all to their home for an Easter barbecue. We’ve booked for next year. The rooms are really nice, comfy beds and lots of space. If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the bustle of resorts, this is just perfect. We hired a car for a few days to explore but you can get a bus to most places from Pastida, which is a few short minutes walk from the hotel. There are tavernas in the village so if you don’t want to explore there’s plenty of places to eat as the hotel only does breakfast, however , there’s plenty for lunch as well!! And you can get drinks throughout the day and evening or make your own as every room has facilities to make your own food and drinks if you wish to.

Very friendly family. Room was excellent and bed very comfy. Breakfast is amazing and you get a hamper with bread, fruit, meat and cheese which is for lunch as there are no snacks at the hotel. Nice pool and good choice of restaurants in the village varying from giros snacks to full meal sit down restaurants like Testaurant Salakia in the village square. Nice and peaceful to relax by the pool and chat with other guests. Only €2.30 by bus to Rodos. We had a great day wandering around the old town with a maze of cobbled alleys with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from. Then into the new town with some very nice clothes shops and of course the marina with the lovely yachts. Great afternoon out. We will definitely come back. Jim & Hillary.

From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave, whether it's your first visit or your tenth you are treated like family. Jenny and Eugene are the most welcoming owners of anywhere I have ever been, such a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble....just ask. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a drink and a toastie, then shown to our room. The hotel is very modern and boutique style with only 11 rooms. We were on the top floor and had views of the pool and the surrounding mountains. The room itself was super clean, large, airy and very bright, lots of plug sockets, full length mirror, proper iron, a safe in the wardrobe and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The air con was great and we had a full size fridge, toastie maker, microwave, electric hob, lavazza coffee m/c and all the utensils and crockery you could think of, even a tea towel, sponge and washing up liquid!! Plenty of hangers too. In the room waiting for us was complimentary water, orange juice, sweets, biscuits, tea bags and 2 coffee pods....lovely touches. Our pool towels were changed twice a week and our room towels nearly every day, bathrobes and slippers are also provided. Jenny's breakfasts are to die for, so much food, the good thing is you can take what you don't eat up to your room in a basket that she provides and have it for lunch, every day a treat, Jenny bakes and cooks and her food is delicious, every Sunday she does something for the guests, we had a lasagne and a moussaka, she also made cakes nearly every day and the salads are all home grown in Eugenes'garden. Expect visits from their family, she has 4 grandchildren and they often pop in which was lovely as they are so cute. Been such a small hotel it felt very intimate and sometimes we had the gorgeous pool to ourselves. So quiet and relaxing. The village is a 5 min walk away and all the locals are friendly, the tavernas are typically Greek but do the most amazing food at very reasonable prices. There are a few supermarkets, clothes shops, a fabulous bakery and ice cream shop, pharmacy's and a small gift shop. We usually keep ourselves to ourselves on holiday but we talked to most people here and made some new friends.... lovely Yvonne and Jeff who we sat next to by the pool each day till they left, Jo and Keeley who were funny, lovely, very friendly and great girls and also (famous) Trevor and his lovely wife Donna (who makes the most beautiful cards for any occasion) to name but a few, there were others but didn't catch all the names. You can see why people return year after year to this wonderful hotel. It was extremely hot while we were there and some wild fires occurred that caused a lot of damage and our hearts go out to all the people who lost their homes and the holiday makers who had to be evacuated due to their hotels been damaged, such devastation.and so so sad, but the army and helpers who flew the helicopters and sea planes are true heros.... constantly

We spent one night of bliss here after escaping by rental car from our resort in Kiotari Rhodes. The owners couldn't do enough for us. They were exceptional hosts! After calling around for an hour we finally secured a room with Nama Retreat. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owners son in law and his friend who gave us free cold beer and delicious ham and cheese toasted buns ( on the house they said) we stayed up late chatting to them about our experience. We stayed in a beautiful clean and spacious room that opened onto a pool. In the morning we had a delicious and satisfying breakfast of bacon and eggs and a basket full of fresh bread, ham, cheese, yogurts jams and honey, as well as a full jug of juice and milk for our coffees. I loved it! I would definitely return here. Also, the resort guests were fabulous. I met a lot of very nice people, one in particular was a man named Trevor who said he and his wife had known the owners for years and are repeat customers. If you read this Trevor, thank you for the lovely drink in the morning "the John's special" Thanks to everyone at Nama Retreat for making our stay so memorable

Firstly our thoughts are with all the family based here during these difficult times. Even with being hosted away from the fires , we saw and heard the activity , and also that there was worry amongst the Greek community as a whole , although this failed to stop the amazing hospitality we again experienced with this family. Nothing too much trouble , and all the added touches meant we have another great stay . All the home cooked extra's from Jenny much appreciated , and the occasional !!! extra shot of metaxa in the frappes even more so. Already booked for 2024 and 2025 , which says it all , and given the present circumstances , Rhodes will need all the help it can get . Thanks again to the family , and we are already counting down the days until we come back

Well where do I start? My husband and hadn't been to pastida for 12 years. Jenny and Evgenios and all of their lovely family made us so welcome. It was like we'd never been away 💗 We stayed for 2 weeks in a swim up room, which was amazing. The breakfast everyday was fabulous, so much food it keep us going until the evening. Alex the barman was lovely, we had some good laughs with him. And not forgetting Mbaresa the lovely cleaner who left everything spotless everyday. We have already booked for next June, we can't wait to go back. Thank you for making our holiday so special 💕
