We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by a lovely young lady who was very polite and helpful. She told us where our room was then said come back for a drink if you would like to. The room was up some stairs with a fantastic view of the sunset. The room was spotless with fresh towels and bedding every other day. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh with plenty of tea/ coffee/ juice and chilled water. Lunch was served on a lovely sunny terrace and again plenty of choices and cooked fresh while you enjoyed a drink and the view. All the staff are amazing and friendly. Very happy to help and always smiling.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms with a good, well- maintained pool. Food is ok and served with a cheerful smile, but there is not much choice if you are vegan or vegetarian. The garden is pleasant but a bit over rated, and several rabbits are enclosed on a concrete slab with no hay or straw, although kept clean and fed. Air conditioning costs 7 euro daily or 40 euro for the week. It is quite necessary, so I was a bit irritated by this. There is one parking space available for guests, so if you hire a car, you will probably be parking on the road outside the hotel. It is busy and fast so tuck your mirrors in. On that note, the noise from traffic, even in a quiet room, is incessant, as a busy arterial road runs across the road to the hotel and the traffic on this is heavy. Those who say this is a quiet place must live in noisy towns! You also get air traffic noise daily, and the karaoke goes on until midnight and is very loud. I am just pleased to be home, personally. The village of Pastida, just a walk away, is a dirty, run down place with nothing to recommend it. However, Rhodes Old Town, Lindos Acropolis and a range of interesting historical sites made the trip worthwile. Kremasti beach is also very nice. The Garden Hotel is good for lounging by the pool all day, then doing quizzes, bingo and karaoke in the evening, but it is not really a sightseeing traveller's hotel. Stay in the mountains if you want peace and quiet and a slice of Rhodian history!

Me and my cousin stayed here in July. What a beautiful place! All the staff are lovely & helpful. Its such a relaxing place to stay, everyone is so welcoming. Food is really nice and cheap and they do best fruit smoothies!! We are going back next June and so cant wait to get back there. I recon we will be visiting the Garden Hotel every year from now on, the hotel and the island is such a beautiful place, was so gutted to come home. The only down fall is its quite a distance to Falaraki and other places but its defiantly still worth the visit. You will love it!

We normally go all inclusive but thought we’d try something different, we choose perfect , what an amazing place this is. You can see why people keep returning we defo will be. Very basic hotel rooms but so so clean and tidy. George and all his staff within seconds of arriving became like family. The pool areas are beautifully calm , we have never felt so relaxed on holiday before. We ate out most lunch and evening meals , our fav being the one across the road but found some great places in the village which is a good 10 min walk. Thank you George and staff for making our holiday perfect. We will defo return next year Absolute hidden gem

Lovely family run hotel. The beds we had were memory foam and super comfy. The only time I’ve never been desperate to get home for my own bed. The hotel is surrounded by Beautiful gardens which are well maintained. Grapes dangling down over the eating area. Lime and banana trees all over. Very clean. We had a plug in for the mosquitos which we bought ourselves and used the bands of a night and didn’t get bit once. Staff are really lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The pool was lovely in 35 degree heat. We are a family of 5. Children aged 14, 11 and 5. My middle one also has autism and we felt very safe here and no judgment from anybody when she was doing her stims. Everybody got to know her and her personality and we honestly felt we were really able to relax knowing she could also be herself. We had bed and breakfast. Breakfast is basic but but works. We took weetabix for our daughter as she can be fussy in the morning. They offer a lunch menu which we loved. The gyros is €3.50 and lovely. The spring rolls are also a must. The local village is about 10 min walk away. Not much to do with kids there but we hired a car and went all over Rhodes. We found an amazing beach called tassos and highly recommend this. We also recommend hiring a boat from faliraki and sailing to ladiko beach for snorkelling. Air con is an extra charge but I feel this is very common in Greece so wasn’t a huge surprise for us. Entertainment is on a few nights a week. The bar staff are always working very hard and drinks are very reasonable priced (and strong). No fighting for sunbeds in the morning. Lovely to wake up and casually stroll to the pool at 10:30 and still able to get 3 loungers. Will defo be returning

Wow, first time at the garden hotel and I can only say it’s the best place we have ever stayed at. We felt so welcomed by everyone, staff could not do more for you, so friendly and helpful. Garden and pool and beautiful, rooms and a pleasant and very comfortable beds. We were so pleased that we booked for next year whilst still there. A really lovely hotel, the staff are so attentive and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All the amenities were amazing and clean, staff would bring drinks to where you were sat at the pool as well. Drinks were cheap and the iced frappuccino has to be some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, I’m still thinking about it! Everything is cleaned to a high standard and the rooms are basic but more than adequate. A/C was 7 euro a day. Only drawback was we were unfortunately assigned a family room at check in, which due to the size and layout of the room the bathroom and where the bunk beds were was always stifling hot. The bathroom also had a blocked drain in the centre of the room which smelled quite bad and the shower was just a raised tray, no curtain or anything, which was unfortunate but not unbearable and by no means ruined the holiday. We had a late flight back and the manager graciously gave us another room until we left, which was the room we were originally intended to have (just a double room) and was a lot better suited to us but the room is just a base so not the end of the world. The hotel is ideally located, near both Faliraki and Rhodes Town. All around a lovely hotel but just a tip that if you don’t need a family room maybe try ask for a double room if you get assigned one.

Well what can I say, loved it here, exactly what I needed, peace, peace & more peace. Staff amazing, Mike superb waiter and very helpful. All staff terrific, rooms cleaned every day (great). To the village, not great but a couple of alright bars, cocktail bars. Easy to get to Falaraki and Rhodes via bus outside the hotel. This hotel fantastic if you want peace & relaxation. Pool huge and spotless. Hotel great, snack bar for lunch is good and breakfast fine. Will definitely return.

Stayed for a week , the staff are very welcoming and attentive. There’s a lot of regular guests who return annually. The rooms are basic and dated but clean and comfortable ( the bed was really comfy) the bathroom is also basic. We booked a last minute holiday for some sun and went on a half board basis. The food is ok- mainly basic and done on a budget. We ate out at local restaurants many nights. The drinks prices are very reasonable and there’s entertainment most nights. All in all it’s a good basic hotel with lovely staff. It winning factor is the lovely large swimming pool ( a separate children’s pool- also a good size) and sunbed availability all set a lovely garden offering plenty of shade
