We arrived late so we checked in a headed out to the entertainment area till our room was ready, we were very lucky that they had allocated us our own room with a pool share and it was the highlight of our holiday, don't let the negative reviews impact your stay, we loved every minute that we are to go back this year in may.

We went at the end of October 2024 and at reception we were met with Marco.. Such a kind and friendly face he was so helpful.... The hotel was lovely and clean but it was the people who made it... Would definitely recommend to family and friends - Tricia and chloe from Ireland

This is my first holiday from which I dream of returning home. With my family of 4 (2+2) we had a late arrival. We used a private transfer from the hotel which took over an hour and we didn't make it to dinner. After checking in and leaving our luggage, we were shown a snack bar where at 10.30 there was nothing but ice cream. The double room we were accommodated in, made me cry - cramped, micro room with an interior finished in the european 90s and very neglected. I couldn't sleep a wink all night. In the morning we went for breakfast, after which we decided to upgrade the room with which we went to the reception - 30 per day for a family room, 40 per day for a room with a "private" pool, which is shared with 3 other rooms. We chose a room with a room with private pool. It turned out that despite the rest of the completely empty rooms in the neighborhood, we had neighbors and shared the pool however, it didn't bother me at all until they checked out - after the neighbors left the rooms in the morning, the staff came to "clean" the room and also the area around the pool, taking away the sunbeds, umbrella, etc. that we thought were part of our room and that added to the attractiveness of the room. I understand that it was the end of the season, but since we were placed in the last two rooms next to each other, they could have been cleaned together at the end. I didn't feel comfortable with big mens in the morning in a place where I paid for privacy and peace. The room itself is not worth the upgrade apart from the size - it is definitely bigger, but the level of finish and cleanliness still leaves much to be desired. A noticeable difference is that in the double rooms there is a note that for the good of the envi cleaning is every 2nd day, while in the better rooms there is no such note and cleaning is daily. After changing rooms, our room with a pool was supposed to be prepared for us, but nothing like that happened - we had to go to the reception ourselves and ask for towels and bed linen. Don't count on a good night's sleep, because the mattresses and pillows are awful. In the room we already had ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, a gecko even though we keep the door closed all the time. In 4-star hotels we are used to renting beach towels without a problem - we were very wrong, here we had to wait for them until 12 noon and I remind you that we arrived late in the evening. These towels are probably a collection of towels left by tourists over the years and the cost of renting such a towel is a deposit of 5 euros. Regarding the food - I gave 2 stars only because my husband and son have a gluten free diet and the chef really tries so that they do not have any unpleasantness during their holidays. Chef is a very nice person, very helpful. The quality of the food leaves much to be desired, it is the same over and over in a million ways but that is only the fault of the hotel manager, I cannot blame the people in the kitchen for this who real

We didn't get the Markos hospitality... instead he bundled us off in a van to the Golden Odyssey as Delfinia was over booked. Very little communication and no apology. As a single parent and 2 kids it was a horrible start. Finally returned to Delfinia next day and room wasn't ready until afternoon despite being told it would be. There is very little customer support from hotel. Once we got settled we had a good time. Beds were comfy, cleaner very nice and hard working room 108, Olga bar man was lovely when you get to know him as was lifeguard. Low key entertainment from 2 girls. Not much personality but they were pleasant, tennis court newly refurbished. Football was gravel and no lights. night entertainment very low key, we enjoyed abba- excellent , karaoke, bingo, the external guitar singer act should be replaced with another better quality external act. 5mins walk to nearest beach. 3 to choose from. Resort village 10mins away, ok, not much atmosphere or character. Nice few walks round area. Local bus good. Food was ok if you don't expect fine dining. No cutlery on 2 nights. Sometimes cats on tables outside. Didn't bother us too much. snack bar including pizza And Ice cream serves until 11pm which is a plus. Pool was good and clean water. Slides were fast. I think only half the pool and beds are cleaned as I watched the morning hose down. Don't think hose reaches both sides. Relax pool was a free for all and also doesn't seem to be hosed down. Felt a bit grubby but was clean enough and I'm fussy. We got a great value deal and I think this hotel has the right elements to make a good holiday if you're on a budget. We would even return for another cheap deal.

Worst hotel we have been too. Got to the hotel to be told our room wasn’t ready and they had ‘upgraded’ us to a ‘private pool room’ which you share we other people who are jumping in the pool at 2 am. Left waiting hours the next day for our room. Rooms are old and out dated, bathtub and shower tiny so when the shower is on it sprays into the bathroom floor. Cleaner bang on doors at 9:30 to clean even when sign is in do not disturb. Got food poisoning while staying here. Staff are rude and arrogant all walking round with head phones in. A local was walking round stealing stuff out of peoples bag in the reception, another guest got hold of him and took him to the receptionist who smiled at him said something to him and let him walk out. No police were called. The doors are very stiff and are hard to lock. Overall the worst experience wouldn’t come back if we were paid too

We stayed for just over a week as a couple in our 20s just wanting a relaxing holiday - and we got exactly that! We were put in a separate villa a 2 min walk down the road which was lovely and quiet and had it's own pool. Staff were lovely (if you smile at people and say thanks, they smile back at you - crazy concept!), rooms were clean, pool area was nice. Not a big fan of the wine but the all the other inclusive alcohol was good and always available. Yes there can be a bit of a queue at the pool bar, cry me a river. The food could have been a bit warmer at times but for the people saying there's 'no selection' and that it was 'bland' must have been on another planet. Breakfast had nearly every option you could think of (toast, pancakes, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast stuff.) Lunch had your basics like pizza pasta chips, Greek salad, stuff to make sandwiches, but they changed it up most days with different meat dishes and of course the gyros bar was great!! We ate 4 nights out of the 7 we stayed for dinner and were happy, BBQ night and the Greek night were amazing. Easy access to the bus for Rhodes Town and Lindos, the bus stops at other places like the 7 springs and Faliraki. Not far from the airport either which is handy. If I had to be really nit picky, I would have liked more dessert choice, a better shower door and a better pillow to sleep on (I probably could have asked), but honestly that's me trying to think of bad points. Overall for what you pay I think you get a great deal, and I would definitely come back here again!

Hotel was very clean and bar service was spot on. Food was OK but just never hot for some reason. Area was great for walking about with plenty to do.(15 minute walk to the beach) The staff were all fine just needing to smile a wee bit more but always tried to help. We did however get shipped to a different hotel on our first night as did another couple we spoke to.(the golden odyssey) we arrived at 11:20pm. This was not good as we could not settle until afternoon the 1st day. Bus to Lindos is just at the side entrance to the hotel at a cost of 4 euro.
