Have just returned from staying at Barbie Costello mid / late Oct 2024 with my husband. We were very pleased with the accommodation, room was spotless , cleaned regularly , and very comfy beds remade every day. Owners / staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you . There was lots of choice for breakfast, but they still were more than happy to supply anything you requested if they had it. Location is very close to the beach ( 10 min walk ) with plenty of choice to eat out either near the front , or in the old town ( also 10 mins walk ) . Added bonus was only a 20 min transfer , and regular buses into Rhodes ( 15 mins away) . We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to couples or families.

Stayed in room 311 Mezzanine room in the new building. The room was excellent. Just across the road from the main hotel. Cleaned daily. We were B&B and the breakfast was adequate but the hot food was cold. The pool and bar area were great and the meals looked lovely, we never ate at the hotel. It’s a great hotel but room for improvement. Location is ideal, 5 minutes away from bars and restaurants, 10-15 minutes from beach. I would stay here again.

Check in even tho early hours,was quick and efficient. Room basic,but clean,cleaned every day,bedding changed every day,clean towels daily. Pool area immaculate. Bar and Restaurant lovely friendly service and the food was very good. The hotel is about a ten minute walk max to bars,restaurants and Shops. Lots of cats which we loved,which regular guests fed daily,The cats however all looked very well cared for and certainly not under nourished like some cats do in Greece. We enjoyed our stay would we return yes but probably not for a couple of years as want to try new places. Overall lovely hotel and staff which a majority were family as family owned.

We had a lovely 9 days stay at the family friendly run Barbie Hotel.Only 20 min from Rhodes airport We had a ground floor apartment for two and breakfast included. Only minus we didn’t have very much sun on our balcony,plus was a view of banana trees and not other apartments. Apartment has adequate cooking equipment but we never did any preferring to eat local. The breakfast was buffet style hot and cold selections ,eat as much as you want.Beach is a 10 minute walk away ,which we favoured rather than pool. Swim shoes a must as beach very pebbly. Passing shops and plenty of local Greek restaurants to choose from.The Cake Box was a particular favourite,on the way home from the beach! 😋 There is an extra 60 euro cost for air con ( only cash) and as we had a late flight well worth to pay the extra 35 euro (cash) to keep room till 6pm. Very clean ,beds very comfortable ,staff friendly and helpful. Pool area is great.We ate twice in the hotel,very nice and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Greek night ,a great way to meet fellow holidaymakers and join in the fun. We would definitely return to Barbie apartments.

We're just heading home after 2 lovely weeks here. The apartment was excellent with all extras including hair dryer. The staff were absolutely first class with a top service. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend. Vangellis and Barbara were extremely helpful and professional right the way through our stay. The Bar and kitchen staff were great and professional and the cleaning staff were very pleasant and did a lovely job. Overall it's been a very pleasant stay at Barbie Apartments so thanks for all you do from Phil and Sam.

Very poor. The room was clean, and the maid service was good, but that was the only good part. Self-catering? How and when? You only have an Electric kettle and a rusty toaster. No cups. just 3 filthy mugs, 2 knives, 3 forks, a few spoons, and a Small electric hob under the sink? The control knob missing, Fridge is full of ice from back to door. as the door on the freezer compartment is missing. Never in all my years stayed in such a dump of a room.

Rooms cleaned every day food fantastic pool is amazing especially when it was 40 degrees have already booked for next year can’t wait only a short walk to bars and restaurants local shops to this was our 7th year at Barbie’s would recommend 🇬🇷🇬🇷

Home a week and all I can say is that this hotel was brilliant stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms which where excellent.location 10mins to the beach 5mins to main road for the bus to rhodes 5mins to resturants and bars .really can't wait to go back !!

We had a 1 bedroom apartment, self catering. Everything was beautiful and clean. It had a big outside space , cooking facilities, plates etc for up to 4 people. Everything is within a 5-10 minute walk all flat and easy access to anything. These is a restaurant and bar we ate a few times there it was good food and reasonably priced. Our pick up time for our fight was quite late in the evening so we asked to extend our apartment for a late checkout which we got for an extra €35. Air conditioning is £60 per week extra as is a safe €15 extra but air conditioning is a must in the summer months. So for 2 weeks adds up and has to be paid in cash when you arrive. The beds are decent but the pillows aren't great but we truly enjoyed our time there and will return
