Lindos Princess Beach Hotel

This hotel had everything we needed for a fantastic week away during half term. The room was perfectly situated for us, near to the beach pool bar and slides, exactly where the kids wanted to be. They loved the ice creams, pizzas, and gyros available every day. The food was decent, always something for everyone. The family room was a good size for us, two adults, two teenagers and a child, cleaned daily and well looked after, mini bar stocked every other day. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for the UK October half term. We booked a private transfer to collect us from the airport as we didn't fancy a 2 hour transfer. We arrived within an hour. Check-in was super easy, and we were sent straight to the late buffet as we arrived at 23:30. Went to our room and was surprised at the size and also that the mini bar was stocked and would be stocked every 2 days free. Went to bed thinking how comfy the bed was. At 05:30, we was woken by noises that I first thought were planes bomding us. The noise didn't stop. After breakfast we went to reception and we moved rooms. We were changed from the main hotel to bungalow block 10. This room was even bigger and a great garden view. Water sports on the beach were great. We did jet skies, crazy sofa and pedalo. The pool was cold, but I expected that with it being October. However, the sea was so warm. The snack bars were great and the outdoor restaurant was great if the main one was busy. We only went for 5 nights just to have a chill out. And that we did. I would say this was one of the nicest hotels we've been to in a while.

We had a good time here although we had actually booked the hotel next door, the Costa Lindia, they overbooked and subsequently booked us into the Lindos Princess without telling us. Bit of a strange one, but that’s another story for their Tripadvisor page. We believe because of this we didn’t have a great room. It was on the second floor and one with quite a small balcony in comparison to the other rooms. Overall we did have a great experience and made some brilliant memories. The cleanliness is very good and the cleaning staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They love babies! The layout of the hotel is great and very aesthetically pleasing. It has a beachfront location and is only 15 minutes away from Lindos town. The taxis are about €18. The waiting staff in the restaurant work tirelessly, they really just do not stop and I don’t know how they do it. We had one particular waiter that was exceptional, his name was Oleksandr and he is Ukrainian, he was possibly the friendliest person that we met throughout the whole trip. His service was the best that we’ve ever received both at home and throughout all of our other travels. I really hope that he and the other waiting staff are well looked after. As I say, this hotel is great, but there are some bits that could be improved to make it brilliant: - The sunbeds are really close together and on a couple of occasions we had to move because other couples next to us, who also have children were smoking in around their children as well as our six month old baby. No staff ever asked anyone to stop smoking even though there are designated areas. - The rooms need more plug sockets and to be updated overall they do seem quite outdated. The decor and bathrooms are quite old and the pillows need to be changed. There is no tea or coffee equipment in the room. -During the peak seasons, it’s really tricky to get a bed by the pool and it’s one of those hotels that you have to get up really early and put your towel on the bed. This is not ideal when you have small children. - The evening entertainment needs a revamp. - The entertainment groups were great but the tannoy system is frustrating when you have sleeping children, we couldn’t seem to get far enough away. - The food is very salty. - Some parents let their children run wild whilst they read or slept. I understand they are on holiday but sometimes it felt quite unsafe. - The staff at the beach bar were not very friendly. I would stay here again as long as they were stricter with their no smoking policy and the rooms had a bit of an update :)

We have just got back from a week here with our 9yr old daughter and 6yr old son. The transfer time was just over an hour and check in was a breeze. We had a buggy ride to our room with our luggage. Our room 1205 was spacious and everything we needed. We were close to the pools , park and beach which was a bonus. The food was lovely something there for everyone we didn’t have a bad meal. The mr whippy Ice creams were a massive hit and probably the reason I’ve gained half a stone haha. The main restaurant does get very busy so I wouldn’t choose to come here in the holidays as I think that could be an issue. The entertainment team I need to mention as they were absolutely amazing. They work so hard day in day out and really made our holiday and going to the amphitheatre each night was a highlight for the children. Behind the theatre there is a little fair with a bouncy castle , little rides etc and the owners were so lovely. The beach is quite rocky and not sandy so take appropriate shoes for the children. They have water sports and we did the jet ski which was 40euros for 15 mins. We had a taxi ride to lindos square one night which was 18euros and this was well worth a visit. We ate at stefannys rooftop restaurant and the view was amazing we watched the sun going down. We will def be back at this hotel and would really recommend it to anyone :)

Perfect holiday with children. Amazing animators, nice big spaces, nice reception, awesome food, lots of greenery and trees. And of course a lot of possibilities for sports activities. The beach is sandy, but there are pebbles, small stones at the entrance to the sea. It suited us and the kids had a great time. Thank you Lindos Princes Family Ocenas
