The structure would need a renovation. Dated not particularly clean. Breakfast barely adequate poor quality. Too bad because the excellent location would make the hotel an excellent choice.

The room is fairly spacious, and it can barely be regarded as a room close to the sea view. Hotel facilities in General, or old. The elevators are regularly maintained and are very old elevators. The buffet is good.

This is the 5th time i've stayed here and the level of decline is shocking. We arrived Weds 21 Aug and i had cause to complain immediately as our room had dirty sheets, delaminated furniture, tv not working (Room 216), rubbish on small, inaccessible balcony (with cracked glass) and the shared balcony with 4 other rooms was COVERED in bird excrement, floor, the 3 tables (rotten wood) and chairs, walls and balcony. I was told i couldn't have a replacement room and that all of my complaints were false. It was late, so i didn't pursue my issues further at the time. The next morning (Thurs) i complained once more to the female receptionist about the unsafe level of hygiene, i also showed her pictures and of the broken sunbeds piled up, the dirty pool, electric cables near the water and damaged decking - i was once more dismissed and told i was unable to obtain a room change and that the receptionist would speak with her supervisor. By late afternoon she had made no attempt to contact her supervisor regarding changing our room (dismissing the safety issues that i'd highlighted) and told me that my balcony would be cleaned. On Day 3, Friday, there was a gentleman on reception; my complaints had not been passed on and i had to show him the pictures of our room/balcony/furniture and all of the points raised regarding the pool area - he promised to speak with Mr Stelios (i think this was the name angrily given to me - it was never explained to me who this was or what the receptionist was going to discuss with him). Our balcony had not been cleaned, neither had the pool and the dangerous decking hadn't been fixed - i could lift 2 panels, some had 30cm holes in them, others had 'lifted' and become trip hazards and some screws were 'proud' - or broken beds removed. The umbrellas had broken wooden splints wedged into their floor supports to prevent them from falling. The receptionist told me that Mr.Stelios would call me - he didn't. I complained once more on the Saturday, once more my protests falling on deaf ears and i was dismissed with 'there are no available rooms' - missing most of the points i had raised. Someone will get sick or hurt at this hotel - it should be shut down. i will not return and strongly advise everyone to book elsewhere.

The hotel we originally booked we had a problem with love holidays and they put us in amphitryon hotel last minute. Rooms are ok ish bathrooms are very dated and worn, light fittings exposed with wires hanging out, mattresses weren't clean and clearly old, no coffee or tea stations, no decor so very basic looking, first, second and third day/night had a power cut for hours so couldn't get ready, one being the morning so cooked breakfast wasn't available it was all such an inconvenience and just being told that someone was coming out to fix it with no apology or anything. some staff pleasant some very rude (man on breakfast) , there is a polite way to talk to customers not patronising, felt discriminated just because I wasn't local, knew full well I was British as he spoke English first having a go at me over something so minor, Pool okay but nothing special, this is a very basic hotel nothing boutique about it. It's convenient for the location but needs major improvements.

We found previews bad reviews totally unfounded. The hotel was a little “tired” but it was clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. They found us a kettle and cups to able us to make drinks in our room. The bar happily opened our bottle of wine (bought outside).

Do not use this place. It is not a boutique 4 star hotel. It is a dump. There is nothing to recommend it. For example, I was informed that there was a rooftop bar with fabulous views- it does not exist! My room was nothing like the photos- it was spartan and shabby. The restaurant served barely edible food. There were few staff and no managers. Most of the staff poor and unprofessional , but there were two exceptions- the lady running the restaurant in the evening and the cleaner. The reception seating area consisted of a group of mismatched tatty stained furniture , with wood pallets for coffee tables. There were silver fish in the bathroom. I could go on. I booked via Thomas Cook. Apparently they don’t have resort staff and so real help was not forthcoming. I was offered a 3 star hotel with worse reviews than this one. Thomas Cook is a screen scratcher- I was told by the representative messaging me that the company is merely an online room booking platform. Avoid.

One of the worst hotels we every stayed. Everything is very old and worn out. It is advertised as a 4 star hotel! Our complaints in a few words starting from the most serious ones: 1. The breakfast room was under staffed. Plates, glasses, cups were washed by hand and brought to the room without being dried. The station with the eggs and croissants was not warmed. It is not nice to have cold boiled or fried eggs or omelet or croissant. The explanation given was that the hotel is very old, the electricity installation is weak and that if they were to warm these things the electricity would go down!!! 2. At least one of the two blankets provided in the room was really FILTHY although the reception lady did not accept this, as if we wanted to lie to her. 3. The soap case in the shower and the toilet paper hanger needed to be screwed properly on the wall. Generally everything in the room (one arm chair, the walls) was old and stained.
