We didnt stay at the hotel but being at the beach we were going to have lunch at their Restaurant that is open to everyone on the beach. We were sat down given 1 menu and 1 drink menu.. there were 2 of us mind you they were not really busy… and then we sat there for a good 10min before we asked someone "excuse me we would like to order" they didnt look us in the eye walked right past. Then someone said "one second" and that second lasted another 5min before we decided to go somewhere else. Tending to other customers who walked in after us before taking our order felt quite bad… espesially after trying to make contact with them to order.. very disapointed worst service during our whole trip.

Wonderful hotel, attentive staff and amazing breakfasts. Fresh produce, comprehensive cold buffet as well as huge variety of cooked foods , fruits, breads. The choice was endless. A wonderful lady who made omlettes to order and was so cheerful every morning. A wll run, organised and slick operation. Loved it

A good basic-level hotel with everything you need and a beach just in front. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with more variety than you can manage to try. One of the best I've seen. The rooms are well-equipped. The bathroom lighting is quite poor, so more detailed tasks like makeup need to be done in the room where the lighting is better. The hotel offers free bikes to borrow, but their condition is very poor — I recommend using the city bikes from the nearby station instead.

We have just left this hotel after 7 wonderful days . The hotel is situated at the peninsula of Rhodes Town so you are surrounded by beaches.. the staff on reception were great, welcoming and friendly.. our room was spacious, beds super comfy, shower strong and hot, air con perfect, and we had a balcony over looking a quiet park area. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels .. a fantastic service. The cleaning ladies were lovely too The pool is very small with about 18 sun loungers so isn't perfect but we didn't really use this area as we travelled around the island swimming in the sea.. When it came to food this was outstanding.. breakfast was plentiful, cereals, pastries, fruits, cakes, hot food with omelettes made to order. We were on half board and we have to admit dinner was some of the best we have ever eaten. Every day was completely different, they place a menu on the board outside. The food was delicious, varied and hot.. but the waiting staff made our holiday.. they are a credit to the hotel.. especially George 'Georgy Boy' and Martin's.. every meal they joked and chatted with us, and made a fuss of our son. Just such lovely and genuine people.. We honestly loved our time here and would not hesitate to come back..

We paid for a sea view room and it was well worth it looking out onto the beach. The rooms are very nice and have the best air conditioning we have experienced at any hotel. The service throughout the hotel is fantastic especially the team in the restaurant. The breakfast choice is first class with a good variation of food. I cannot comment on dinner as we always book B&B as the choice of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel is huge. The pool and the area around is small but very nice but you have the attraction of the beach on your door step. This was our third stay at the Ibiscus hotel and will stay again possibly next year.

loved this holiday, on the tip of the Island, over the road from the beach, and in walking distance to the old and new town and the boat ports, we done some walking but was worth it. hotel is lovely, rooms beautiful, we had a side sea view, but to me was a front sea view, room 310, the staff was amazing, from the cleaners and receptionists, and the restaurant staff and manager, always there every meal time, to greet you, with the warmest welcome, and on our last evening, they all made a fuss and hoped we had a safe flight home, would definatly recommend this hotel, weather was fabulous for may. we will be back. oh and the sunsets was amazing from our room. Thank You.

The position of the hotel was prefect for us. A 20 minute walk into the old town but plenty of restaurants and bars within a 5 to 10 minute walk. There are lots of beaches to choose from, if somewhat pebbly. There are so many pros to the hotel and the only con is the small swimming pool. But we knew this when we booked. The staff were wonderful from reception, to the bar staff and the reception staff, everyone we met and reacted with were friendly and professional. The rooms have been refurbished fairly recently and we found it to be still in good working order. Our view was over the square at the back and was very quiet. We were also near the lift but never heard it. If we were to return to Rhodes town, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
