Leonardo Kolymbia Resort Rhodes

Lovely hotel and staff so friendly and happy to accommodate everyone :) My only one bit of feedback would be to get better activity people. Sad to say they just didn’t get people involved and didn’t make much effort :( Other than this I would recommend and will be back :)

We are currently at the Leonardo resort and have had a fab stay! My children and I (14 & 10) received a friendly welcome at reception with a glass of bubbly (juice for the kids) and we were shown to our room and our luggage was carried for us. It was my birthday the day after we arrived and I was surprised with a birthday cake and a bottle of red which was a lovely gesture. The Pool is a decent size although my children said it was on the colder side. There were plenty of sunbeds and we never struggled to find some no matter the time of day, although it may be different during peak season. There is a shop in the hotel selling the essentials and across the road from the hotel there is a shopping centre selling souvenirs etc. The beach is a 2 minute walk and is nice but could do with a clean up! The food was varied which was a relief as some all inclusive resorts can be quite repetitive! The Pool restaurant has burgers, chips, salads, which weren’t the best but they were okay for a quick snack during the day! The staff are all very friendly and we have had a lovely holiday! I would definitely recommend the resort and would return to Leonardo!

Don't worry, this is the place to go and having stayed in Kolymbia several times over the past 24 years I have no worries in recommending this great place for all. From first entering the hotel I met and continued to meet the happy, helpful and charming team, which is Leonardo Hotel. Room was clean and with a very good aircon system, yes even in October this was needed with 32C on several days, useful fridge, well equipped bathroom, slippers and dressing gown, plus a very comfortable bed. During my 2 week stay I visited and stayed in Tilos and Symi, both of which I can recommend and please see my comments on the places I stayed. On my trips away, I would always be asked where I was going and did I need any assistance, on my return real interest in what I had seen and done. The team here are so client focused and when you think they work 7 days a week for the whole session, how they keep smiling, cheerful and helpful shows the management are not bosses but team players. I will hopefully return and know I will love every minute as I have just done. The pictures are: The fishing port about 250 M from the hotel and a friend visiting the gardens around the hotel.

Wow what a wonderful hotel - perfect in every way for us. Perfect location - quiet but very short walk to 3 beaches, and the sea is lovely to swim in. Views of mountains and the sea. Pool area spacious and immaculate. Rooms - great AC, beds comfy, shower powerful, fresh towels daily. Short bus ride for trips out (30 mins to Lindos and about 50 mins to Rhodes town). Bus is 4 euro each way, both are well worth a visit. All of the staff are exceptional from reception, housekeeping and especially Valisis, Spyros and George in the lobby bar and Sakis at the pool bar. Lauren is a great asset very helpful also. Cristos always on hand and helpful in the restaurant. Restaurant buffet great and varied for all 3 meals. My daughter is coeliac so has to eat gluten free. The buffet has a lot of food naturally GF - meat, salad, cheese, potatoes, chips, lots of veg, rice, fruit, yogurts etc. for breakfast they also provide GF pancakes and bread if you ask. Desert only limited GF option (fruit, jelly, yogurt and sorbet) however staff organised for a lovely desert option in the evening if requested. We were at the end of the season (hotels last week before closing) so entertainment had finished. We enjoyed playing games in the bar, sunset walks along the beaches close by, enjoying cocktails chatting to the staff. We wouldn’t usually return to the same place, but this is a little piece of paradise. My teenagers and we adults felt completely recharged. Thank you

We were lucky enough to be the first guests in 2024. Treated like royalty with a wonderful greeting from the team but soon realised other guests got special trea**ent too! They opened especially for us to have a late lunch and we knew straightaway that we were in good hands. We visited with our young adult children and their partners and the holiday will live long in the memory. My daughter was 18 on the day we arrived and a cake was left in her room. Another lovely touch to go with the wine and fruit provided for us all. The town was barely open so we relied on the hotel but there was so much choice of food that it had limited impact. We also got to watch football in the evening thanks to George, who was brilliant all week on the bar and with great conversation and recommendations. My son and I even ventured to watch Diagoras Rodas after chatting about local football and watched a cracking game. It was good to walk to the beach and get a buggy too where we skimmed stones and enjoyed the glorious sunshine. We went out most days, whether via a bus or taxi, visiting Lindos, Rhodes and a fantastic local beach etc but tended to get back for a swim, table tennis and relax by the pool with a beer, where Sakis was superb. We loved the routine of eating together and there was a lot of choice each day. It all felt over too soon. Not sure we really had negatives. I'd have liked a craft-like ale to have been available and perhaps a change of the background music in the bar but with the ingenuity of the cocktails, perhaps I am being too fussy. The Greek government applying a tourist tax stung a bit too as we paid for 3 rooms but this would have been fine if it had been just the two of us. Overall, a big thank you for making perhaps our last family holiday such a special one.

The holiday experience is exceptional, providing a serene and pleasant environment. The accommodation offered by the hotel is suitable for families as well as its daily cleaning routines.The breakfast was excessively rich, and the food was absolutely flawless. Given the circumstances, we are confident that should life present an opportunity for our return to the island, we will revisit it. The staff was helpful and helped us with everything we needed. Special thanks to Reception Manager Mr. Panormitis , he took care of our arrival and gave us useful information about activities and nice places to visit on the island. 🌴💪 #FriendlyStaff #HelpfulReception

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff always smiling. Public areas and pool are very nice and kept spotless. Food was excellent with a varied choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. House wine at dinner wasn't brilliant but with so many other drinks, including cocktails, available it wasn't a problem! The only thing that lets this hotel down are the slightly dated rooms and, in our case, a very lumpy, uncomfortable mattress. We mentioned this at checkout and were assured that they are trying to update the beds. Overall a very nice stay in a lovely hotel.

This hotel is fantastic, this was our 1st time all inclusive and we were a bit apprehensive, we needn’t have been, there was plenty of choice , breakfast was brilliant, all the staff were amazing especially SIkas at the pool bar and George , Pavlas and magda at cocktail bar. This was our 1st time to Greece and we’re not disappointed the Greek people are amazing we are definitely going back 👍👍👍👍
