We had a wonderful 8 night stay over the May half term, with our 2 children (4 & 7). The staff are second to none, the hotel is immaculately clean and despite it being at capacity, there were always a few sun beds free. We only choose all inclusive because it's so much easier with children, but the food was so outstanding at both the a la carte and main restaurants, we'd choose it even without our children! The drinks were very good and never seemed weak. We had a sea view family room, which was a little tight for 8 nights but housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping it clean. We had a very large balcony which was wonderful, although we did wish it had more than 2 chairs given its a family room that sleeps 4. The pools were not heated but warm enough at the end of May. The sun beds are comfortable and well maintained, and even after a sudden thunderstorm there were plenty of fresh towels. The children's pool is fun but very small and doesn't have many sun beds close by, and the other pools are mostly 1.4m so fairly deep for little swimmers. The beach is sandy, easy to access, and there were always sun beds available. Travelling with a child with food allergies is always difficult, but they staff couldn't have put us more at ease. My 4 year old daughter has egg and milk allergies, but she never felt left out. Vegan pancakes were made for her at the a la carte brunch restaurant, which was such a wonderful surprise. Concierge arranged for a vegan cake to be made for my son's birthday so that she could partake. A very big thank you to Dimitris, Ranai, Eduart, Stefas ("our friends" as my children are still saying) in the main restaurant- they are exceptional! Sous chef Nikolas always ensured she had a safe dessert with each meal, and I can't explain how much this means to a child with allergies. There is only one element that might make us think twice about returning next year, which was children's entertainment/ kids club. Despite it being half term and the hotel full of kids, the mini club only had a few attendees for a lot of the day (children of employees mostly). Looking at the schedule, I could understand why. There are a couple of fun activities each week such as pizza making and a visit with Mickey & Minnie. But much of the day is filled with colouring, UNO and a single craft for over 2 hours in the afternoon. It's a shame because the potential is there but the staff didn't seem particularly enthusiastic and activities were sometimes cancelled last minute. Sadly my children only wanted to attend a couple of times for a few short windows of time, whereas at other kids clubs they are usually desperate to go for many hours. It just needs a bit more imagination and more on-site activities planned. The kids mini disco is a few times a week at 11a, which was also not particularly well attended. However one evening a week they have a superhero hour in the games area, and many dozens of kids attended. It's a shame there wasn't more of this as
