Rhodes Bay Hotel & Spa

Lovely hotel with lots of options for food and pool/beach. I had a lovely massage with Maria in the spa thanks so much - very relaxing . The food is lovely and it is good to have options of many restaurants too. Good service and staff thank you :-)

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, very nicely decorated with stunning views in the dining room and bar area. Even as you walk into the lobby you are greeted by an amazing outdoor waterfall and trees! We stayed in the bungalows which is probably one of the quieter places in the hotel as it’s further away from the road and up in the mountains, also with a lovely quiet and sunny pool right outside. The staff were lovely and all very friendly and the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from old town. You can get there by bus (but make sure you buy tickets in the supermarket beforehand) or taxi for about 10-12 euros so a good location just outside of town. The food was lovely and had a good variety with something different on each night. There was also good entertainment on in the evenings with a great bar area. All in all I can’t recommend the hotel enough, absolutely beautiful!!

The environment is very serene. There is an artificial waterfall downstairs, a mini market, the spa and pools. The spa is only complimentary with other packages. However, it is 30 Euros for a day pass. If you have the forest view, you won't have much of a view but definitely gives the forest feel e.g. sounds, of birds chirping, water flowing. Breakfast is on the 10th floor and a large selection of continental and hot breakfast. On the 11th floor, there is the bar, another pool and a restaurant. I didn't eat at the restaurant besides breakfast so cannot comment on the food/cuisines served. There was entertainment which I had missed of a trio of men singing Italian opera which was beautiful. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and had a good night sleep. Overall, I would recommend staying here. The hotel looks like the pictures and is a quality stay. If you're travelling to the hotel by bus, it would be better to buy your ticket at the Airport which costs less than paying on the bus. They accept cash only on the bus. The stop would be Rodos Bay and the hotel is just opposite the stop. However, it is only a 15mins drive if you're getting a taxi/shuttle etc. To get to the Old Town, take a bus from outside the hotel, it should cost you 1.80 Euros to take you to the Central Bus Station. You'll have to use your data or maps to find where the Old Town begins but it is straight forward and not hard to miss. Please bear in mind, to use the toilets you will need pay 50c but the toilets are pretty clean. ONLY CRITIQUE for the hotel is 1) To only use the required oil needed for frying eggs. The quantity used at breakfast is far too much and unhealthy

The best spa outside of Thailand. The staff amazing the treatment was fantastic. The room are so wonderful each having individual taste the big Buddha room best I have ever seen my husband agreed . Xenia was my therapist today and need big thank you

Fantastic experience... massage from Dimos was great...Very aware of my recurring shoulder injury and took that into account during the whole massage....my had the pleasure of Maria who took great care in making her feel comfortable during her body scrub and other treatments.... The reception staff were also very helpful overall two fantastic therapists at a exquisite spa cannot speak highly enough.

Got to our room and was in there ten minutes before being called and told we had been given wrong room.Moved 2 rooms along. Room was exactly the same but twin beds. Massive fuss about us having room with coffee machine, said we weren’t bothered if it had a coffee machine or not! The woman in the restaurant, blonde bob, barked at us for taking a seat. Nowhere does it say to wait to be seated!!!! There was also no one at the dining entrance to greet/ advise us so we took a seat .My husband tripped in the dining area on a piece of flooring that was loose, sprained wrist. The chair leg completely went through the loose piece of flooring. (A square price of wood to the outside dining area) On advising the woman who was so abrupt with us she completely dismissed it saying she was aware. The food is average. The waiting are friendly but staff are more concerned with getting your room number multiple times to give you a receipt at meal times than taking drinks orders. We gave up requesting second drinks as they just did not seem to want to take more than one order. Ordering at the bar was painfully slow. Caffe latte was served lukewarm warm. Sunloungers are stained and some furniture broken. Drinks are filled with ice so much that the drinks are watery. We ended up eating out on a few nights as the rigmarole of the dining area was awful! There is an ant infestation at the middle pool area. If you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair don’t expect to be able to access a toilet near the pools. There are none. You need to go to reception area or down some very slippery steps!!!You can only get pool towels at 10 am and cannot exchange during the day if they get too wet etc. This is absolutely NOT a 5star hotel. 3 at best. This is THE MOST NON ALL INCLUSIVE place we have ever stayed at. Be aware before booking!!! Housekeeping were friendly as were the ladies from the spa. We were given a bottle of fizz on one day in our room as it was my husbands birthday, this was a nice touch. We have holidayed in Rhodes twice a year for the last 6 years and this is the only hotel I would advise to avoid.

Room lovely , staff lovely, bed massive and so comfy.. what a view! Food options great. Nice cocktails and the spa massage experience was just so relaxing.. my wife and I were hosted by Maria and Ada. Our only minor downside was that not all sun-beds were of the same standard and comfort.. but in grand scheme of things it’s nothing that would stop us returning.

Stayed for 11 nights could not fault this hotel. The staff at the bars and restaurant are so friendly especially Theo. Such a pretty hotel with great views. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss at first I think it was the start of the season. But after a week it improved greatly although I was sad the lobster night hadn’t started yet. Shout out for the Spa my husband and I had a massage by Maria and Katarina , highly recommend. Would we come back? Most definitely 10/10 .
