Predictable but never boring. Recently returned home from a 10 day holiday at the Atlantica Imperial that once again met our expectations. Large bedroom, big balcony with spectacular sea views. Good food at every meal. Professional, friendly staff throughout the Hotel to deal with any queries or questions. Perfect again from our point of view and hopefully we’ll be back in September ‘25.

A fantastic holiday! - this year we booked a special trip away for both our anniversary and my birthday, and the Atlantica Imperial staff went above and beyond to ensure our trip was extra special! The resort itself is brilliant with a great selection of food and drink on the all inclusive. Kolymbia as an area offered lots to do and places to go, with shops and bars, and a shuttle bus available to travel to Rhodes town (highly recommend!). The harbour round the corner is very picturesque and has a lovely bar for drinks and a small church facing out into the sea. But beyond the scenery, the food and the drinks it is the people that make both Rhodes and the Atlantica Imperial such a special place. From the first moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile, and no request was too much to ask! … and there is no better example of that than Minas! Minas is absolute credit to the resort! - Minas served us on our first evening and introduced us to new cocktails, making suggestions on places to visit and things to do around the resort. Over the week we were served by Minas each day and were consistently met with a happy smile. He managed to help us make a great holiday, a phenomenal holiday. We’d love to see him get some recognition for this 😀 Thank you Atlantica Imperial! - we will be back

Certainly, a fabulous 5-star hotel. We stayed for 10 nights on a half-board basis in a part sea-view room, which in our opinion, had an excellent view of the grounds and the sea. The room was spacious, immaculate and well equipped. The buffet restaurant was well laid out with plenty of choice, although the speciality restaurants seemed rather expensive. A fabulous pool terrace, lovely gardens and shaded woodland area with sun loungers was very pleasant. The hotel supplies plenty of complimentary drinking water; including a bottle delivered to your room each day, still or sparkling water offered at lunch and dinner and a couple of water dispensers in the grounds for guests to use. Each room has air-conditioning, of which we discovered could be used to its maximum in hot weather by setting the temperature on the lowest setting using the right hand button and setting one of three power levels using the second button. The room will cool down quickly. Example of drinks prices at the hotel; 330ml beer 4 euros medium glass house wine 6 euros local spirit with mixer bottle 10 euros. The buffet restaurant is very spacious with plenty of indoor tables and limited outdoor tables. Guests may have to wait a few minutes for these at peak times. Entertainment: Some acts better than others, but the highlight for us was the tribute band to the 1970's called 'Funkytown' who were both very humorous and entertaining. Water shoes came in handy on the shingle and pebble beach. There is a good local bus service to both Rhodes town and Lindos old town a few times a day which leave from the bus stop across the road from the hotel entrance. Both cost 4 euros a trip. It takes about 1 hour to Rhodes town and 45 minutes to Lindos. A few negatives: Firstly, the entertainment on the main stage was only for 4 or 5 nights a week. Secondly, the day after we arrived, I asked a receptionist to clarify which sun loungers we could use without extra charge. She said we could use all loungers with the exception of the padded day-beds. However, later in the day when we were using an ordinary lounger on the lawn which stretched infront of the beach, a guest came over and said the lawn and those loungers were reserved for guests occupying rooms 101 to 125. She pointed to one of the signs which we didn't see on arrival. I felt a little annoyed that this was not mentioned on the hotel website or by the receptionist. In my opinion, this section should be cordoned-off to avoid the disappointment and embarrassment which we were caused on having to move away. Thirdly, the only UK TV channels provided were BBC World news and Sky news. Earlier in the year, we visited a 4-star hotel in Tenerife which provided BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, which are all popular in the UK. Finally, it wasn't made known to us which facilities we could use in the residence area across the road. At the end of our holiday we were told by a guest of the lovely indoor and outdoor pools along w

We recently arrived back in Manchester having spent 10 lovely days at the Atlantica Imperial Resort, Kolymbia. We had a swim up room in the Residences with a view we could never tire of. It was our third visit to Atlantica Imperial. There is so much to love about the hotel; the setting, the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff. It is right on the beach, with a hilly backdrop and easy access to Kolymbia, the local (very reliable) bus service stops outside so whether you want to stay put or go further afield the choices are there for you. If you are feeling active, there is a good-sized gym and a large indoor swimming pool (I had it to myself most days) as well as a beautiful outdoor pool, the sea of course, and regular low-key activities you can join in if you feel like it. I agree with other reviewers, it is the staff who make this hotel extra special. They are efficient, professional and most importantly, friendly – whether it’s a ‘planned’ meeting such as the cleaner coming to the room (they came twice a day) or just in passing along the corridor. Special mention to Kiki in the Imperial Residences; she is always so friendly and helpful. Michelis too was always welcoming and attentive. My biggest ‘thank you’ goes to Chef Nikolaos in the Agora dining room. I love my food, but since being told to follow a gluten free diet 15 years ago, I have got used to having little or no choice in what I eat when I go away. This is not the case at Atlantica Imperial. As others have said, if you let Reception know you have food intolerances, then Chef Nikolaos comes to meet with you to understand what you can and can’t eat. Each evening, he will show you what choices you have (there are loads) and even offers to cook a gluten free version of some of the meals you can’t have. Incredible. And the food is delicious. Thank you, Chef Nikolaos and team, and thank you Atlantica Imperial – I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

We have just returned from our week long trip at the hotel, choosing the half board option as opposed to all inclusive. We stayed in the Duplex Suite which was incredible, amazing view of pool, stunning room and our cleaner was lovely with good attention to detail. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Although about half way through the trip my partner and I started to get a bit of a sour taste in the mouth with regards to the service. The pool bar staff were great, restaurant staff very polite and friendly, as were the spa staff. The reception staff, however cannot be said the same for. Upon checking in, a woman checked us in who was very Kurt, just put her hand out, not even asking for our passports. She gave us our room key and that was it really. Didn’t even tell us about the room tax, didn’t tell us meal times, didn’t let us know where to get towels; that some beds around the pool were an extra charge, nothing. We had to figure out a lot for ourselves, most of the time by asking other staff around the hotel or by speaking to other guests. You’d expect reception staff to welcome you, be hospitable and tell you all this info. But not at this hotel. They are very unfriendly, not accommodating or hospitable. They act like they are almost above you, and when asking a question to them, act like it’s a chore or we should know the information. When paying £3000 for the week you’d expect a lot more from these ‘receptionists.’ I would like to add it was only 2 or 3 female reception staff that we found incredibly rude. The male reception staff and one blonde lady were lovely. The other female staff we exceptionally rude, and almost treat you like a number. Anytime we asked these particular ladies a question it was always a one word answer, no help at all, with anything. If we asked about something it was usually always an extra cost as well. A particular incident made us feel quite angry, was when we checked out and paid our bar tab which ended up being £470. A LOT of money especially on top of the £3000 we already paid. We checked the receipt and the amount to which the receptionist said ‘not much, this is fine.’ My partner and I found this exceptionally rude especially as we’d been saving for this holiday for so long. We had anticipated an expensive bar tab as we did drink most days, although the dismissive tone of the receptionist (young dark haired lady) made us feel quite agitated. Again they very much make you feel like a number and they just want your money. In conclusion - very rude receptionists (again some, not all) that made our stay that slight bit less enjoyable. We would return in the future, but wouldn’t definitely like to speak to the GM about their receptionists and their tones & customer service should we come back.

We spent a week here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have hoped for better. We arrived in the middle of the night but were still greeted with sparkling wine, food in the fridge and our cases were taken to our room for us. We loved our room in the residences and would highly recommend the red carpet service to anyone looking for something a bit special. The staff across the resort are absolutely fabulous and so friendly, we felt very well looked after. The whole place is spotlessly clean too. The all inclusive food and drink options are varied and high quality. We also really enjoyed 2 of the a la carte restaurants during our stay. We were very lucky to have a room with a large swim up area so we spent a lot of time there rather than the main pools. We had a trip to the spa which was lovely and we were given some freebies to celebrate our honeymoon which we really appreciated. The bed is comfy and we weren’t disturbed by any noise at night. There’s some lovely cats that live on the grounds and are very clearly well cared for by the staff which is nice to see. The only comment we would make is there was an ant problem in our room. We called reception and someone was up within 5 minutes to help. We just had to make sure any food was well sealed etc. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special

Perfect setting. We upgraded our room to a swim up room and it was fabulous. Had drinks daily at Orfeas bar - must acknowledge the excellent service during the day from Ria. The hotel are lucky to have her - always smiling and helpful, making us feel special.

Just returned after an 8 night stay. From check in at the hotel everything was perfect. Stayed in the Villa with private pool which was stunning. The most comfy bed I have had. We was HB as we wanted to explore. You could upgrade in resort to All Inclusive for 65 euros a day for a minimum of 3 days . This was well worth it . We made use of Gingers restaurant one evening which great as well. The main buffet had so much choice different theme each night .There was entertainment every night which was different every night. We also used the bus that goes in to Lindos for the evening. This was well worth booking as soon as you get there as it goes on a Tuesday and Saturday costs 12 euros each return. Lindos was stunning. You can also get the bus to Rhodes town. Both about a 40 min journey. Theres a few restaurants in the resort if you want to get out and about and a lovely restaurant on the beach outside the hotel. You could always get a sunbed no problems around the pool or beach. There was also water stations around the pool area which was welcomed in the 30c plus heat. The lady at the pool bar always remembered your room number while getting a drink. Always plenty of staff in the restaurants and pool areas. Views from the Terrace with a cocktail at night was stunning across the bay. Beautiful pool areas and warm. Overall 10/10 and would definitely recommend the Atlantica Resorts having been to few of them
