Resort is near road and easy access, especially if you are driving around the island by car. Resort is family driven, very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent cleaning, and a great pool area. Staff very helpful and serviceminded and also helped us get to next lokation. We give our best recommendations.

The resort was okay for the money. The room was small but reasonably well appointed, and cleaned daily. The reception is generally staffed by an older gentleman with limited English. The location is very poor for the kind of lazy seaside holiday I had envisaged though. It is on a main road, and is at least an hour’s walk to the beach. The local village is a 10 minute walk away but I would not do it in the dark as I wouldn’t feel safe. The village is not a tourist resort at all, and offers little for the tourist to do. The local bus service is infrequent. I recommend you do your due diligence before booking this here, it’s hard work to get anywhere, and there is little to see and do within easy reach.

We have just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. It was a friendly, family run hotel. We were made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble by the owners. On the night we arrived we had just missed dinner, however, we were offered a salad which we gratefully accepted after a long journey. What came out was a feast of salad, stew, vegetables and bread. We were full of delicious food and about ready to get to bed when two big plates of fresh watermelon was offered. The family were so kind and the hotel beautiful. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food all week was delicious and the setting was perfect. We couldn’t fault a single thing and it exceeded our expectations. We felt that our comfort and satisfaction was their priority. The owners were helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Even offering us lifts to the local beach. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little slice of paradise.

We visited the hotel in mid September. The room was clean and had everything needed, kettle , balcony fridge etc. We were on the back of the hotel on the ground floor and it was very quiet. The pool area is good and the bar served local spirits and drinks as part of the all inclusive package. Food was very good and served fresh with a wide variety of choice particularly at breakfast. The lamb was amazing . The hotel is a fair walk from the beach and Faliraki but there is a bus service outside. We had a hire car and there is ample parking at the hotel. Staff were all great the only mistake was that we offered to move hotel on our last night as they were overbooked. What a bad decision their sister hotel in Faliraki is a dump, rubbish everywhere and staff couldn’t care less. Chalk and cheese

Well it calls itself a hotel and believe me it’s no hotel not even a bed and breakfast.Advertising food and drinks served from the hotel bar and pool bar absolutely a lie false advertising the only positive is that you’re room was cleaned daily that’s it theirs no help from reception to get a taxi he said he doesn’t do that???? Very ignorant old man Luckily for us their was a petrol garage 250 yards away so got all crisps and pop from their couldn’t get much as the fridge was the smallest ever .This is the first review I ever written because I don’t like putting my opinions on to others But please keep well away from this hole Rising Damp comes to mind HORRIBLE

If you dislike the tourist crowds of Faliraki and the hectic pace of Rhodes City, this is the place for you. Saint George is located a 40-minute drive from the city (30 minutes from the airport) on the outskirts of Archangelos, one of the larger villages on Rhodes. It’s just off the north-south main road, so you might hear some traffic noise, but not enough to be bothersome. You will need a car when you stay here. The hotel offers a pick-up service, but you can get dirt-cheap car rental deals at the airport. The center of Archangelos is within a 10-15 minute walk, but to get to the beaches of Stegna (highly recommended) or other seafronts, you will need a car. Yes, there are buses, but they tend to be full. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the rooms have been recently refurbished. The bathrooms could use an upgrade as well, mostly because of the tile colors and overall 70s look, but they are clean and pleasant. The Greeks do not use shower curtains, so the floor may get wet when you take a shower, but there is a drain on the floor, and it dries up quickly. Not a dealbreaker. I stayed alone in a double room, and the room was on the small side. I can imagine it being a bit cramped for two people, as the space between the bed and the table/refrigerator unit was no more than 50 cm. However, there is ample room for your clothes and even your suitcases in the generously spaced closets. The balcony was also small, but otherwise nice. Breakfast was good! A nice selection of eggs, bread, ham, vegetables, and even some canned fruit—my favorite. The coffee was also of good quality. There is a large dining room, but you’ll want to sit outside for your meal. The pool area is well-suited for breakfast, with the ubiquitous cats begging for food. The real asset of this place is the pool and the area around it. Strangely enough, it is barely used by the guests. Some days I spent hours as the only guest there, even though the manager told me the hotel was fully booked. I can understand wanting to go to the marvelous beaches nearby, but still, no fighting over the sun chairs :) The pool is big and clean, the sun chairs are in good condition, and you can find shade under the umbrellas. The poolside bar is not open for service, so you have to bring your own drinks. However, there is a fridge in the room and a supermarket 500 meters north of the hotel, so no problem there. All in all, a very nice experience. I give it 4 out of 5, mainly because of the small room, but if you enjoy a tranquil resort and the peace and quiet of the Greek countryside, this is for you. You should also be okay with being woken at dawn by the rooster next door. I had to buy earplugs to get some sleep during the first few nights, but you'll get used to it—and actually, it's quite charming. Recommended!

After an awful experience in another apartment complex,we were so lucky to find a room here at such short notice . With a friendly welcome from all staff members,we found our room to be clean and fresh, bathroom a little dated, but perfectly suitable. We had a lovely terrace, maybe lacked a little privacy, with a very short walk to the pool. The pool area was a little oasis, pretty and tranquil ,set behind the hotel, which is on the main road. Stegna beach is probably the closest, lovely with several Tavernas, but a bit of a pain to get to,if you don't have a car . Lovely stay, thankyou

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We could not have been made more welcome by George and his lovely family who looked after us very well. Rooms comfy, just awaiting bathroom upgrade. Plentiful breakfast buffet, lovely pool area and great location for seeing the island. But you do need a car or love walking - it’s nowhere near Koylimbia, it’s a 10-15 walk into archangelis, all on the flat! And although it’s on a main road, you wouldn’t know it as it’s so quiet and peaceful there, very relaxing. There’s a local bus into Rhodes or Lindos, a great beach and many tavernas at Stegna beach and trips to places like Symi can be arranged.
