Marianthi Studios & Apartments

We have just spent 1 week at the end of September at the Marianthi Apartments in Pefkos. The apartments are basic and dated but are very clean and excellent value for money. Our apartment was cleaned every day apart from the Sunday. Use of the safe, wifi and aircon is included in the cost to stay so no extra add ons! They are situated at the top of the main ***** in a great location with great views and only 10 minutes from the Plakia beach. The Marianthi has an excellent pool area including very comfortable beds and has a bar. If you are looking for luxury than these apartments are not for you but if you are looking for clean accommodation in a friendly atmosphere give this place a go. The cleaners made us laugh everyday. With a little TLC this place could be amazing. If you contact yannis direct you will be able to get better room rates direct.

If you want a relaxing holiday within easy reach of all the amenities that Pefkos has to offer then this is the perfect accommodation for you. The rooms are well equiped with everything that you need for a self catering break. In the room where we stayed we had three single beds, an adequate sink/cooking area and a very spacious shower/bath/wet room. You also get a dressing table and wardrobe with plenty of space for all your clothing, cases etc. A/C and Wi-Fi was included and a safe was available if needed. Patio doors lead to a personal outside area with great views and a table and chairs and airer for wet garments as well. I would recommend contacting the owner Yannis direct for prices and availability as the apartments are not widely advertised which is a shame. The nearby Rock Bar is a good place to enquire if you are already in Pefkos as the property is situated just above and behind it. The selection of photos on here show the whole property off well. The pool is massive, warm and well maintained too. Yannis and his staff are a mine of information about local bars and restaurants as well as the best beaches and could not do enough to make sure we had a brilliant time in the resort. We will definately be returning again and again and this will be my first choice everytime.

Upon arrival we asked to check in and the reply was are you sure you want to ( said by the owner ) we were then taken to our room where the bathroom was disgusting and had not been cleaned the tiles had mould, the utensils all filthy in the kitchen area and the fridge also disgusting there waa stains on the bedding and the general hygience was extremely poor. When we spoke to the owner regarding this we were told we can clean it tomorrow. He then showed us another room and yet again it was disgusting. When he found out we were in touch with our booking agent he told us there was nothing he can do about this either stay or find somewhere else to go. We were made to feel extremely unwelcome whilst there for raising these issues and thankfully we were relocated by our booking agent within a few hours no thanks at all to marianthi what so ever as he cut the phone of when the agent was speaking to him. I have since spoken to others who have shared this experience and in all honesty the place should be closed down not even animals should be kept there. I would 100% Avoid this place at all costs.
