We had a great visit to Irene Palace. Firstly, all of the staff were amazing. The restaurant, bar, reception, car rental and especially the animation team who were always so friendly and great at what they do. My kids loved the kids club - shout out to Gregory, Alicia and Ameena who made it great for them. The kids insisted on going most days as they enjoyed it so much - which meant an extra relaxing holiday for the adults too! The evening entertainment is great, they had dancing, Greek music and a show by the animation team too. Hotel is a fabulous location with a lovely beach a few steps away and a short walk to some great restaurants and bars. Watersports on the beach are vast and reasonably priced and car rental in the reception is run by a very nice man at a good price. The food was good, always something fresh and tasty to eat. Greek night was everyone’s favourites with one of the best gyros we’ve had. Rooms are basic, but it was clean, comfortable, air conditioned and quiet. For any other English visitors worried that this hotel was more for other European visitors based on reviews, it is definitely not the case. We felt very welcome and everyone speaks English. Highly recommend! One way to improve would be to make showers available to those with a late check out but it’s not a big deal, we had a great time. Thank you!

A very good hotel because: - rooms and swimming pools of a good standard, - great garden and proximity to the sea - delicious food, - daily evening attractions for children and adults, - but above all, the hotel service is at a very high level, starting from the helpful reception, quick restaurant staff, vigilant lifeguards, entertainers, and even a always smiling lady who cleans the rooms every day. Whereas our favorites were Filimonas and Seva from the pool bar. Very friendly people ❤ and our son was fascinated by the of course animator from Poland - Grzegorz - "killing chickens" (whoever saw it knows it ) The Irene Palace team will always be in our memory - thank you for a great holiday! A good hotel for families with children. Very good location, right by the sea. Green garden, by the pool. Not a big water park for kids. The selection of dishes is average, but the food is tasty. The service is fantastic, they work hard and yet are always polite and helpful. Super cool entertainer manager Gregory, takes care of the entertainment during the day and in the evenings for the guests. We stayed on the third floor in a room with a sea view. There is no air conditioning in the corridors, only in the hall and dining room. Sometimes in the evenings there was a smell of sewage outside. Overall, I recommend it and I would definitely go back there.

Hotel located near the beach with a private garden. Clean and well maintained. It offers excellent and varied food, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to the pool bar and night bar staff. The hotel offers entertainment in the evenings.

Here now day 6. This hotel is very pleasant to be in. The staff are friendly & helpful. The rooms are pleasantly decorated. The food is delicious with a huge selection of salads,cheese & fruit. Hard to fault anything here it really is. I would certainly recommend staying here. Kolymbia itself is a short walk away, lots of shops and places to eat. Pharmacy is a 15 minute walk near to the harbour. Took a bus very close to the hotel to Rhodes Town, 55 mins €8 return. I recommend that you go to the bus station ticket stand on yours return as they will give you a bus number and time. Off to Lindos tomorrow also 8 euros return each. All in all a great holiday. Could be even better if the sunloungers by the beach were included as they charge €15 for two plus an umbrella but other than that it's faultless here. FYI - Breakfast is 7 to 10.15am Lunch 12 to 2pm Dinner 7 to 9pm ( tip go in 30 mins before closure to avoid heavy ques ) A Sunbed mattress can be rented at €5 per week ( keep in room or balcony) Onside shop is very reasonable price wise and has a good selection of items 6 x 1.5L Water is just €2.50! Massive bag of Sour cream crisps was €1 ! Book and enjoy ! Travelled as a couple aged 50s / 60s ( mixed ages all around ) for 9 nights.

Lovely hotel. Even better than expected.Superior room was very clean and comfortable.Food was exceptional and huge choice.Pool area was bigger than expected and had 2 seperate children's pools.Only couple of minutes walk to shops. You have to pay to use the beds at the beach by hotel,but it is right at back of hotel, so if you dint want to pay you can use the beds on the very large grassy area in between hotel and beach.Very green around the hotel with alot of plants and trees for shade.Staff very polite especially staff at pool bar. A little difficult to enter the sea at beach by hotel due to stones, need water shoes,but within reach of other beaches with much easier access. The beach at kolymbia harbour is beautiful and about a 10 minute walk. Plenty of entertainment for children,but if you are adults looking for evening entertainment then you may wish to choose somewhere else. Couldn't fault this hotel and would definately return

Neveeer again!!!! This is the worst hotel at the Greece! Not 4*, max 2*!!! 49 e /7 days taxa? Are you kidding mee?????????????????? Never again…………………………………………Give me back my money!! Thank you for worst holiday, this is very bad dream :( :(

Really lovely hotel in a perfect spot on the sandy part of the beach. Lovely gardens, staff all very accomodating. Food was good, typical All inclusive really, some good days, some not so good days but lots of variety. Rooms very quiet, can have a good nights sleep! Downside, for us being one of the only English families we have found the other guests to be quite "off" with us. No smiles, no acknowledgement, sometimes actually quite rude to us. Not a hotel I would feel comfortable staying in as a single traveller. No fault of hotel obv, just wanted to pre warn any English solo travellers that it feels quite isolating, we have been looked at like we shouldn't be here and thats not by the locals who are always lovely. Sunbeds are an issue in the pool area, towels sit there all day empty! Not fair. Luckily the beach is on the doorstep as this would prove a big problem. Looks to be alot going on for children.
