Very convenient to the Keflavik Airport. An easy 15 minute ride by car. Taxis readily available at the airport. I arrived at 6:30 am after arriving in Iceland. Rooms were not available until the regular 2:00 pm check-in. But, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and was directed to comfortable couches in the lobby on which to relax, read, and nap. The moment a room became available, the desk clerk came and let me know I could go to my room. Later that evening, I enjoyed a Cosmopolitan followed by a delicious dinner.

A five minute ride to the airport. Hotel offers one way rides to the airport but you need to book in advance if you are staying here. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast timings accommodate very early travelers. Overall, great place to stay!

The hotel is right next to the Budir Church. It should be the only hotel around here. It feels secluded and the environment is beautiful. Food and accommodation are generally very good, but the faucet in the sink is very strange. The two faucets are independent, and the hot water is extremely hot, and the cold water is biting, so you can’t directly turn on the faucet when washing your face. , Or take it in the pool to wash or bite the scalp and wash in cold water

Overall it is great, but the hotel is a bit old, and it's not bad from the restaurant. The hotel can pick up and drop off the airport for free, but you can only choose one time. I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel delivered it to the airport for free the next morning. Breakfast starts at 5 o'clock, so you can eat it if you catch the early flight (the earliest one is 7:30 after seeing the big screen at the airport) The heating in the room is super powerful. When the radiator is turned on to the maximum level, the radiator is hot, and the room can quickly heat up to 25 degrees or more.

I recommend this guesthouse if it is your final destination before leaving Iceland. I think a lot of people do not understand that this is not a luxury home; it is truly meant to host you for a single night before an early flight. The place is clean and safe. The bathrooms are communal and the rooms are relatively small (keep in mind rooms are usually small in Iceland). One thing I did not like is that at night, it can get very loud due to the winds. However, this is absolutely not the responsibility of the host, it is just something to keep in mind. The reason I gave this location 4 stars is that it is very affordable, in my opinion it is a waste of money to stay somewhere expensive on your last night next to the airport. It is also worth repeating that the place is very clean and safe.

When we went to the hotel, we couldn't check in because the hotel couldn't find our reservation record. When we went to the customer service, we just said okay and only received the check-in certificate e-mail and official receipt. Finally, I went to the Hong Kong customer service of Hong Kong Home Appliances to start a formal dialogue with the customer service. In the end, the customer service said that I had to pay at my own expense first, and then follow up after returning to Hong Kong. I hope that trip.com can improve its support and communicate with the hotel to allow guests to check in first. I also realized that in the future, I should contact the hotel by email before checking in to avoid this situation. Everyone should do this step for safety.

It's very close to the airport. It only takes 5 minutes to walk, but it still needs a slight detour because the sidewalk is not repaired. The room can directly see the airport. I stayed in a standard double room in an airport hotel at this price because the plane arrived in the middle of the night. The room configuration is quite satisfactory, standard for a business hotel. The bed was quite wide, which is common in most countries. I thought all hotels in Iceland were like this. Later, after traveling around Iceland, I discovered that this bed was the widest single bed I have ever stayed in. Breakfast is not bad, and there is kiwi fruit.

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Nicely surprised at this small gem. It is renovated but not “new” so I was originally a bit disappointed upon entering the small lobby but I quickly fell in love. Very nice staff and cute room. Loved the location in a nice harbor town very close to airport . Best part is the unexpectedly GREAT restaurant in the hotel with fantastic views of the harbor. Best grilled lamb and seafood we ate in Iceland!

I stayed with a couple of friends in the Nupan in May-21 (five nights) and then again in Oct-21 (three nights). This is a delightful, charming, clean, comfortable, warm and homely guesthouse with single, double and triple rooms. The single rooms have shared bathrooms. There are kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Although officially the place doesn't offer any meals there is often enough for breakfasts in the kitchen area. Being centrally located, there is a supermarket, restaurants and cafes nearby. Keflavik airport is close by and transport to it is available. Agatha and Reynir are super hosts....welcoming, friendly and very helpful in providing information on the surrounding areas. This place is definitely going to be my first choice for staying whenever I am in the Reykjaensbaer area again.

Room hygiene is OK, domestic quality, breakfast is average, there are few things, but tea, coffee and hot water are available all day, which is still very convenient. The location is 6 kilometers away from the airport and 20 kilometers away from the blue lake, which is very convenient After traveling around the island, take a break and leave by plane. When the hotel goes out, turn right and there is a Thai meal, which makes it more comfortable to eat. The room is not big, and the water for bathing and showering is relatively large. Easy parking. The hotel can sign up for various tourism projects and signed up for the Aurora Group. I was very lucky to see the 8-level Aurora, a small group, and a full-size SUV to pick up and drop off the store, which is very convenient and comfortable.

My second stay at this hotel near Keflavík Airport. A great place for the price and just 15 minutes from the airport entrance.  The hotel is on an old air force base on the back side of the KEF airport.  It features a couple of really nice common spaces to relax, especially after a weeks long campervan trip. It is very much a converted military barracks but don't let that discourage you. It's actually nice.   The rooms are basic but provide a nice shower/tub and large closet. Adjustable heaters in the bathroom and main room.  The staff is always great. Since my flight was super early they packed a breakfast to go for my 4am departure: How top notch is that? The hotel does offer breakfast and small snacks for sale. There are two restaurants in walking distance if you want lunch or dinner that are good.

This is a great stay especially if you're in for a late arrival or arrived after a long flight or an early departure. My flight arrived at 6:55 pm, and I was there by 8 pm. Once you get your rental car, the place is only 9 km away, which you can easily get to. The woman at the reception was very kind. Its got a good kitchen and neat rooms and WCs. The day I was there, the breakfast was from 4 to 9 am, which I believe is for people who are up to catch their early flights. For me personally, Start Hostel was the perfect stay to start my vacation in Iceland.

A friend of ours booked 1x6 to surprise his wife on Friday the 24th but forgot to check out her schedule because she had other plans this night 😎. So he called me about an hour before the check in time started to find out if I wanted to use the room. And 'O boy' I do not regret accepting his offer to spend a night at 1x6 where Andy and Yuki treat you like Royalty. The whole stay was like an adventure and it's obvious that they have put their touch on the house with so many great solutions in renovating and decorating the house and rooms. I've been here before a couple years ago and the hostel got a 5 star rating then. I guess I must have been lucky then with the room, this time our room was the worst. We had noise coming from every side of the room - on one side two bathrooms, people showering and using the toilets at any time in the middle of the night. Outside is a busy street and windows don't close properly. The floor in the hall is made from pebblestone, which looks nice, but also makes awful noise whenever people pull their suitcases across. Since our room was the first from the reception we heard everyone come and go. As the hostel is conveniently close to the airport, people come and go in the middle of the night as well. And at last, late at night, the most inconsiderate and noisy people moved into the room next to us. One of the reasons we picked the hostel was, because we had to leave early in the morning and their website stated they start breakfast at 3.30. At checkin we were told it starts at 5, i questioned that because it was stated otherwise on the website, so we were told we could come a little earlier and could have breakfast, since we had to leave at 5 (at the latest) for the airport. Guess what? Next morning, at 4.55 the kitchen was still locked and we had to buy an expensive breakfast at the airport.

I really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse. It was in front of the Hotel Keflavik, and situated in a very nice location. I was able to use the facilities of the hotel as well, for example breakfast and storing my luggage there. The guesthouse was very clean and comfortable, bathrooms were tidy, everything was very well organized.

Due to our cancelled flight we needed to find accommodation for the night! Luckily for us Ravens B&B had space! On arrival we were instantly welcomed and shown our room, quirky and rustic was our first impression but was clean and warm. Once we settled in the host offered to drive us and collect us from a restaurant due to the severe weather which was so kind and generous of him. We had full use of the kitchen facilities and helped ourselves to tea! We felt very comfortable and it had a lovely homely atmosphere .! The host went above and beyond to help us and to make our short stay as relaxed as possible. In the morning for breakfast we just helped ourselves to everything, a continental breakfast and had all you needed. Would highly recommend this place, definitely a home from home! Although our stay was brief and not planned I’m so glad we had the opportunity and experience staying there.

Originally, I only switched to Iceland in order to catch up with the storm and cancel the flight. People at the airport queued at the airport counter to book the hotel. I feel that if I go down this way, I am afraid I have to play at the airport. So decisively on the Ctrip query, watching the surrounding areas of the airport less and less, I almost did not seriously compare, set the four-bed family suite in seconds. When the taxi came to me in the middle of the night, my heart was still very embarrassing, and I felt that I was driving to a remote village. The morning storm stopped, the curtains were opened, and the coast dam was actually seen. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but the room has a simple kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, tableware. I walked in less than ten minutes and there is a 24-hour small supermarket, buy some milk, bread, cheese, ham, plus a travel companion. Instant noodles, children can eat very well! Did not drive, so did not ask the waiter whether there is a parking lot. I like the public leisure area here, the high frosted transparent roof, very bright! Not far from the airport, it is very comfortable to stay temporarily.

A friend of ours booked 1x6 to surprise his wife on Friday the 24th but forgot to check out her schedule because she had other plans this night 😎. So he called me about an hour before the check in time started to find out if I wanted to use the room. And 'O boy' I do not regret accepting his offer to spend a night at 1x6 where Andy and Yuki treat you like Royalty. The whole stay was like an adventure and it's obvious that they have put their touch on the house with so many great solutions in renovating and decorating the house and rooms. Nicely surprised at this small gem. It is renovated but not “new” so I was originally a bit disappointed upon entering the small lobby but I quickly fell in love. Very nice staff and cute room. Loved the location in a nice harbor town very close to airport . Best part is the unexpectedly GREAT restaurant in the hotel with fantastic views of the harbor. Best grilled lamb and seafood we ate in Iceland!

The hotel is right next to the Budir Church. It should be the only hotel around here. It feels secluded and the environment is beautiful. Food and accommodation are generally very good, but the faucet in the sink is very strange. The two faucets are independent, and the hot water is extremely hot, and the cold water is biting, so you can’t directly turn on the faucet when washing your face. , Or take it in the pool to wash or bite the scalp and wash in cold water

Originally, I only switched to Iceland in order to catch up with the storm and cancel the flight. People at the airport queued at the airport counter to book the hotel. I feel that if I go down this way, I am afraid I have to play at the airport. Did not drive, so did not ask the waiter whether there is a parking lot. I like the public leisure area here, the high frosted transparent roof, very bright! Not far from the airport, it is very comfortable to stay temporarily.

This is a delightful, charming, clean, comfortable, warm and homely guesthouse with single, double and triple rooms. The single rooms have shared bathrooms. There are kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Although officially the place doesn't offer any meals there is often enough for breakfasts in the kitchen area. Being centrally located, there is a supermarket, restaurants and cafes nearby. Keflavik airport is close by and transport to it is available. Agatha and Reynir are super hosts....welcoming, friendly and very helpful in providing information on the surrounding areas. This place is definitely going to be my first choice for staying whenever I am in the Reykjaensbaer area again.

When we went to the hotel, we couldn't check in because the hotel couldn't find our reservation record. When we went to the customer service, we just said okay and only received the check-in certificate e-mail and official receipt. Finally, I went to the Hong Kong customer service of Hong Kong Home Appliances to start a formal dialogue with the customer service. In the end, the customer service said that I had to pay at my own expense first, and then follow up after returning to Hong Kong. I hope that trip.com can improve its support and communicate with the hotel to allow guests to check in first. I also realized that in the future, I should contact the hotel by email before checking in to avoid this situation. Everyone should do this step for safety.

Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating.
