Room and toilet were clean, however there was a Sulphurous odour (almost like rotten eggs) coming from the drain of the shower which was quite difficult to bare if you used the bathroom for too long. Fortunately for us, we were out most of the day, so we didn’t have to deal with it so much. They’re a sustainable and eco friendly hotel and don’t offer one-use toiletries, however extra towels and other things were offered when requested. The breakfast spread was lovely and yummy!! Appreciated the well thought out guide folder!

The location is easily accessible by public transit. It’s a self-service hotel, so guests must be sure to reach out if they haven’t received checkin instructions. There are staff at the hotel and on call who are very friendly and helpful about routine issues which arise. The included breakfast buffet is remarkable!!!

It’s near the downtown centre if u drive. There’s a convenience store Netto. If u want to save some $, go there and shop for some drinks, bread and groceries before you set out for the long drive.

Rooms range from big to small. Compared with our friends, the one we booked on trip was the best! There is a hot water kettle and a coffee machine. The room is big!

The hotel is satisfactory in all aspects. But the service of Ctrip is negative. The hotel has no front desk, which means it is all self-service. Ctrip sent emails and text messages, but the most important thing is that the hotel front desk door opening code and the key box code were not sent to the guests. Our flight was late and arrived at the hotel at 3:30 at night. Ctrip asked us to contact the hotel to find the door opening code. It was rainy and windy in Iceland at night. Hey, Ctrip, don't take on such a job if you don't have the diamond drill.

Don't stay! Don't stay! Don't stay! I never expected that in Iceland, where the tap water is said to be drinkable, the water in this hotel is smelly, smelling like sulfur or rotten eggs. It smells really bad when it comes to the towels!

I have to say that this is a hotel that everyone should never book unless it costs 200 RMB a night. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no check-in reminder. Because it was completely self-service and there was no key reserved at the front desk, I couldn't open the door. I contacted Ctrip urgently. Ctrip responded and solved the problem. I was very capable and helped find a universal key. I opened the check-in room and it was as simple as a hotel next to the train station. (The lobby has more guests from the Middle East) This room is the most expensive hotel I booked in Iceland🇮🇸. It is exactly the same as the Iceland Light Hotel I booked before. Incomparable to Geysir. The price is the most expensive! Everyone must not stay here!

Location, service, cleanliness and price were all excellent. There are plenty of free drinks, and it was very convenient to be able to use the electronic kettle freely. The staff are very friendly and I will definitely use them again when I travel to Iceland.
