Island Apartments

Hostess and host are both helpful and friendly. We arrived early and were allowed to store our luggage. The room was clean. What we liked most was that there was a big window that can be opened and the room is very bright. In addition the location of the apartment is very convenient. Bus stop 14 is about 5-6mins walk. And there are nice restaurants around the area. The church is nearby too. The host was kind enough to let us store our luggage on the day when we checked out. Overall it’s a nice stay. It added to the good memories of our Iceland trip.

The room is clean and easy to stay! A good experience!

Walking distance to places of interests, and even to bus stops where the tours pick you up. Every morning we would to a nice cafe, or walk to a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner. The place has everything you need. We have a two year old, and the owners made sure we have everything we need. Maybe just an advice would be some hooks at the bathroom to hang towels, and a magnet for the door to stay open if you are carrying heavy stuff. Other than this, we had a lovely stay, and will come back in a heartbeat.

Our location and amenities were excellent, very friendly welcoming by a manager who explained the workings of the studio as there is no concierge. Our communication with the manager was thru email then on . If we had any question, anything else , email was promptly answered. The place was also handy for making a quick meal because we enjoy the occasional home made food. The tours we scheduled were also happy with our location, easy pick up and drop off. We also enjoyed the quiet peace at night , all in all positive experience!

The location is great - right in the city center, the apartment is clean, it has comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well equipped, even had a toaster, microwave, etc. The owners respond within 15 minutes to anything you need and made us feel very welcomed. thank you!

For starters, the hosts are extremely nice and very communicative when we had questions! The location could not be more perfect for someone who wants to be near everything; direct access to top notch bakeries and restaurants, short walk to the shoreline (less than 5 mins and viewable from the corner), and walkable distance to the city centre for more sights and bus stops for tours (less than 10 mins). The room itself was just like the pictures, no surprises, which is always nice! Had everything we needed- nice bed, tv, refrig/freezer, microwave,stovetop, kitchenware and private bathroom. Another great feature was the couch (pulls out for extra sleeping) and the table. We would come "home" and review the day on the couch and eat our breakfast at the table- it made it feel like home! Location felt safe and the room was clean; housekeeping came once to empty trash and new towels.
