Ammos Suites

The hotel's location is fine, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The water in the jacuzzi wasn't changed. I cleaned it myself on the first day. Yes, after that, they (Filou) and their staff came and cleaned it again. I saw them doing it, even if they didn't see it. Their cleaning lady (I only saw one cleaning lady in 7 days) is completely overwhelmed with the hotel. Bed bugs in the bed—that's unacceptable! I know this because we had bloodstains on the sheets. After 6 days, we were moved to another room. My fiancée had to clean the toilet herself. The room hadn't been cleaned or dusted for a few minutes. And yes, I can confirm that there are bed bugs or mites in the bed. I had over 15 bites all over my body after one night. My fiancée did the same. We wanted to tell them personally on the day of our departure, but unfortunately, they weren't there... that's a big no-go... that's completely unacceptable. A hotel with at least 4 stars, hygiene must be a top priority! Breakfast was nothing special; the same buffet every morning. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

This is simply an excellent small hotel. Our room had a hot tub and good size patio area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, there was a good variety of food at breakfast, good bar area, ample sunbeds on beach and staff that couldn't be more polite and helpful. It's in a good location, with the Old Town within walking distance (20min). We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This is a wonderful place to come to for rest and relaxation. We came last year, so our second visit, and we had booked for a rest having had a very busy year. We were not disappointed. Ammos is a superb place to recharge your batteries. On the sea road in to the town centre, approx. 20 minute walk, it is ideal to explore the locality. The staff are superb, from Filio the manager, the cleaner is a lovely lady. Breakfast is a mix of cooked and continental plus cereals, toast and jams/preserves, plus local cuisine, and all really nicely prepared. The beach area is available to access just buying drinks from the bar and you are served by the most lovely of people. We got complementary wine and champagne. Beach towels and air con, plus a safe is provided. The rooms are modern and exceptionally well maintained. The bar and service and range of cocktails is fantastic too, where you can sit and watch the sun go down. Nothing more to be asked. I love this place and would recommend it to you.

Excellent location in Rythmno, across the road from the beach and close to all the restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and the staff super helpful. Breakfast has a great variety and the overall price for the room was excellent value.
