Food: Breakfast is highlighted as a strong point, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes. The food quality is generally considered excellent, and local tavernas provide authentic Greek dining experiences nearby.

Amazing hotel. 4 swimming pools, jacuzzi, spa and gym. We stayed in room 505 overlooking one of the pools. We were close to a very busy road but we shut the bedroom door and couldn’t hear a thing. Very spacious room, very clean, towels for the pool included. Kitchen with everything you’ll need (including a dish washer) Ironing board, iron, very powerful hairdryer, body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. Spacious bath with shower over. Bed was huge and super comfy. Staff are very friendly and there to make your holiday fabulous. Close to bars, tavernas and shops. 2 1/2 hour transfer from the airport but so worth it. Had the best time and will be back. Thank you so much Would very highly recommend.

We are staying at the Grecotel Casa Adele hotel and it has been an amazing stay so far. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the pools are gorgeous and inviting. The staff are very welcoming and they go above and beyond to ensure the guest is happy. Sakis, one of the evening chefs is very friendly with the guests and personally ensures that every guest is given a slice of his daily sweet delights. The food is absolutely fantastic and traditionally Greek... it feels very nostalgic as it reminds me of how my Greek mamma used to cook it. Well done to all the staff at Casa Adele.

Just back from 10 nights at this lovely hotel. We had a one bedroom duplex towards the back of the complex, although we were quite near the busy road the noise was minimal and did not disturb us. It was a well appointed apartment with everything that we needed, including free pool towels, a toastie maker and a super king-size bed! The standard of cleaning was good and we were left clean towels every day. Around the hotel we even saw the loungers and bins being cleaned! We honestly couldn't think of a negative with this hotel, and in fact the little touches really made a big impact, from the call in our penultimate day to see how we had found our stay to concierge taking our bags from the room to our transfer on the last day. We were on a bed and breakfast basis which was great, there are many tavernas within a short walk all offering traditional fayre for around €15 per head. The average meal for two including wine and beer was about €32. Thank you to all of the staff at Casa Adele for a truly wonderful holiday! We will definitely be seeing you again!

The description of the hotel above is about a different hotel. Grecotel Casa Adele is not a boutique hotel in the heart of the old town but a hotel situated 6km from the old town at Platanes Beach. We had a lovely week despite having been allocated a room on arrival which did not match that which was promised by TUI. Nevertheless, this was rectified with an hour and we had a lovely room with a terrace fronting onto a pool for the whole week. The rooms in the hotel are especially good because they are studios equipped with a kitchen - fridge, microwave etc. Food was good, especially breakfast which is excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the very friendly staff who made our stay especially enjoyable. Thank you very much.

We had a fantastic time at the Greco Casa Adele and would highly recommend. We travelled with our two daughters ages 8 and 10 and stayed for 11 nights which felt just right. We took the hotels private transfer from the airport which took just over an hour for 100 euro which meant we had a seamless trip to the hotel as we arrived in the middle of the night. We had a lovely room with what I think was a queen size bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living space. We were lucky to get a really large balcony (room 514) overlooking the pool which we spent a lot of time around. There are 3 pools and plenty of sunlounger. The hotel has a policy where you can’t reserve sun loungers or they will remove the towels which was great as the mornings felt relaxed. Breakfast was from 7-10am and we would go down anytime between 8 and 9.45am and there was always plenty of food to choice from - the girls loved the pancakes each day and the pastries were so good! There are plenty of local tavernas and shops right next to the hotel all really good value. A supermarket within a short walk too with everything you need. There’s lots of places where you can book excursions too. We booked aqua city water park which we had a fantastic time at (however the transfer there was quite long - over 2 hours!) We also booked a boat trip through Dolphin cruises however it got cancelled due to weather conditions. The beach was a 5 minute walk - we didn’t spend a full day there due to not being able to swim because of the tide and the red flags but there are plenty of sunlounger and beach side restaurant/cafes. ** The sunset from the beach on an evening is stunning and so nice that the hotel is so close to the beach. We also went into Rethymno a couple of nights which was a 12 euro ten minute taxi ride and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to spend many hours there. The hotel was spotless and immaculate which we were really impressed by. The staff work incredibly hard and I want to acknowledge the breakfast staff and reception staff (I think Yiannis who greeted us upon arrival and helped us when we departed too). Everyone was really friendly but not intrusive. A mention to the lovely young life guard who was on the pool with the bridge. We didn’t expect to have a life guard so it was reassuring to have another pair of eyes on the children’s safety and she was switched on and on the ball all day working long hours. On the last day it was my birthday and I was brought a cake during breakfast which was a lovely surprise. My daughters and I also had a massage by Marianna which was excellent and my girls loved especially as no where back home does massages for children. George on the spa reception was really friendly and helpful organising the massages so thank you both for a lovely experience. The hotel has a lovely vibe and attracts a certain type of clientele as there were many nationalities and every one was polite, respectful and kept the place clean wi

We had a great stay, friendly staff. Clean resort, near the beach. Big rooms ,3 pools and a spa. Everyone was exceptional friendly and helpfull. The handyman fixed a small problem directly! If we do need to mention something; the poolhours can be from 9-19 and the gym need to be open in the evening! A bar was missed but this was mentioned to be build in the near future. The pooltowels were a big suprise and a valueble extra service! Wifi was good and the airco quiet and cool. Efcharisto!

This is a great location for exploring the island. The hotel is amazing, it looks like it's been updated recently. The staff are amazing and helpful. The room we were in was immaculate. Serviced every day. The pools are spotless and very well maintained. Regularly checked and tested. Poolside service was brilliant. The best bit for me was the massage with Marianna. Knows what she is doing. I'm a trained massage therapist and she was brilliant. I can't comment on the food here as we didn't eat in their restaurant. Highly recommend this place for all families. They even did a birthday cake for me! Parking the hire car at the back of the hotel was never an issue. You have every type of restaurant you could imagine on your doorstep. The beach isn't far away but the sea isn't really suitable for swimming as its a bit rough.

Beautiful hotel. Staff are very friendly and made this hotel special. Rooms clean and well appointed. Lovely pool areas. Excellent breakfast although very busy at times which made the small serving area crowded. Only 2 coffee machines which had long queues when people filled up coffee into tea pots. Lots of towels in room including beach towels which we appreciated. The spa wasn’t easy to find. We went along and everything was switched off. You need to book ahead and pay €30 for 30 mins. The indoor pool was free. Treatments were expensive so we went to other facilities outside hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. There are lots of good restaurants close by. The road outside the hotel is busy but our rooms were away from this.
