We were friends staying the last week of April 2017. Second time we stay here. Pleased with the location and well equipped apartments. Very warm welcome from the family who runs this place. We had lovely weather and enjoyed many hours on the beach, and afternoons at Cactus the bar in front of hotel, really friendly people at the bar, also serving at the beach. 20 mins to walk into centre of Rethymnon. Supermarkets and good restaurants next door. Perfect wi-fi at the hotel and at Cactus bar and beach. Perfect holiday, and huge thanks to the family who runs this nice hotel, and who's always lovely and helpful. We will defenately be back again.

Nice hotel with modern, clean rooms. Roof terrace with sea view, where you can enjoy your breakfast. Many shops and restaurants around. Just a few steps away from the beach. About 20 min walk along the beach promenade to the old town of Rethymno. The whole hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Batis Beach Hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed there last summer for 5 days. The hotel is located literally on the beach, just what we needed to relax. We had an extraordinary view and our room was clean and spacious (+WifI). The hotel is located at a walking distance (8-10min) from the city centre something which was quite convenient for us. Finally, the staff was very helpful and friendly, providing us information for anything we asked for. An experience to remember, will visit again asap! Thank you Batis!

If you want to have the best Hotel in Rethymno Crete book now! The rooms are excellent, fantastic service, very clean and every day new towels! It is my second home and love the family! They are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the beach (accros the road), center is very close. A great beach bar Cactus is aside the hotel basically if you book Hotel Batis you have all you need for a fantastic holiday! It does not matter whether you go alone, with a friend/partner or your children , Batis can accommodate it all an Rethymno has something for everyone! I go back every year ❤️!

We originally booked the Ammos Studios next door but they stuffed up our booking so moved us across the road to Batis. Not sure about the pricing but is only 2 star, so although clean and adequate for overnight it is basic. We were given a side room with side view of ocean. The rooms are small and have too much furniture in it so seems cramped. There is basic kitchen/sink area with fridge, couple of chairs, table and bed all in small area. The bed was quite comfy although the sheets didnt really fit. The bathroom is clean. There is nothing provided in kitchen in lieu of cleaning goods. There is free wifi and a small pool. The staff were friendly. It is right across the road from beach, heaps of restuarants closeby and walking distance of old town. Free street parking only.

Very pleasant hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean, bed was also comfy. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially couples. When we was there the weather wasn’t good so we had breakfast downstairs so didn’t get the full experience of having it on the rooftop. Would have also have liked to see a menu as we had trouble deciding what to have as the woman’s English wasn’t so good but can’t fault her as she was lovely she tried her best.

Came for a friends wedding - the hotel staff were very welcoming providing champagne and biscuits/treats for us on arrival. The rooms were modern, comfortable and very spacious. All week the staff were great, always on hand for assistance and willing to help. The breakfast was a lovely addition to have every morning on the beautiful roof terrace with a sea-view. All-in-all, a great stay and would rate it 10/10. Thank you
