Hotel, staff and amenities all lovely. The hotel was clean, our room was a family room so was pretty big for just the two of us. The ladies that cleaned our room always had a smile and a greeting, as did the restaurant staff. We only did B & B because of the many taverns we wanted to try. There are a lot of options around and we weren’t disappointed. Would recommend this holiday without hesitation.

I’ve enjoyed my stay very much.The staff are very helpful,approachable and friendly.My room has been cleaned daily to a high standard and my breakfast has been delicious with a wide variety of choices.Would I come back here again. Attractive hotel with easy access to the beach, smart but with a laid back vibe. Thanks to the excellent staff who were super friendly and attentive - there was an issue with the arrangement of beds in our apartment not being what we expected but they accommodated our needs and brought an additional bed down. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, great layout for a family of 4 with an indoor and outdoor seating area. Bit of a walk to the town but it was easy and cheap to get a taxi. Many car rental and coach trip agencies nearby, supermarket, restaurants, everything you needed to chill by the pool/sea or go out exploring Crete.

We absolutely loved staying here! lovely apartments, perfect location, no battles for sunbeds, wonderful breakfast, totally relaxing, and fantastic friendly staff who do all they can to make your stay a positive experience. Do not hesitate to book Grecotel Plaza! I don't like returning to the same place twice as the world is too big a place to do that....but this hotel has broken my rule and we will absolutely return here!

Good points: Hotel and room was clean Breakfast was ok Very close to the beach Staff are helpful Good WiFi Free sun loungers on beach No sun bed wars Good local shops and restaurants Bad points: If you like to stay by the pool rather than the sea, this is not the hotel for you. Only 16 sun loungers by the main pool. Photos shown of the pool were obviously taken by an estate agent as they are not a true representation of the size. Zero evening entertainment. Place is dead.

This hotel is very stylish, not cookie cutter at all; small and perfectly formed. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and professional, making the stay really relaxing and easy. The pool was smaller than I had expected but this was not an issue as the beach, directly across the quiet road was well furnished with comfortable sunbeds. For my mother, in her 80's, they happily brought a chair down for her to ensure she was comfortable. The service on the beach was excellent too. I would especially like to call out the lovely Jannic and Fereniki for their attentive service - always with a smile. The apartment was two bedroom and the layout was great. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean and well decorated.

Great hotel, friendly staff , perfect location. Needed a room change when we got there and Vicky made it happen for us, she was so accomodating. The rest of the staff were also extremely lovely and kind to our little 1 year old girl. Really high quality buffet and food too. Definitely go here.
