This hotel is what would come up if You searched for ”best hotel in Greece”. The staff is betond friendly and makes You feel at home and at ease, when we went down for our first breakfast they joked when we asked where the breakfast is that it is ”3km down the road” and being somewhat asleep still I almost fell for it, before they broke out into laughter, escorted us to a beautiful garden table and made sure we knew were everything was. Regarding the breakfest, it is the perfect start to the day, everything is so delicious and You get the feeling You have everything You need for the ultimate hotel breakfast. When it came to the rooms they are so well kept, the nice staff even sorted the cords of my girlfriends curler and hairdryer. Whenever we needed some information or guidance they provided us with everything and made sure we knew were to go and what to see. The staff is so nice and its the little things they did, like the jokes, the sorting of the chords and the friendliness over all that makes this hotel the best one by far! Words cannot describe how thankful we are for making this holiday so incredible! Kiitos paljon, from room 207!

This was our 5th stay here and we love coming back each year. The hotel is in a perfect location for the beach and town. The rooftop pool is a great feature, with friendly barman and has an amazing view. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcome us back every time.

Good things. Enormous double bed, excellent maid service and big balcony. Lovely garden behind the hotel. Less good. Some daytime staff clearly not interested in customers, mumbled greeting felt like going through the motions. Breakfast was disappointing. Rock hard kiwi fruit, orange juice from concentrate or power diluted to the point the only orange about it was the colour. Hot items that were stone cold as if the servers had not been turned on early enough. Brown liquid apparently coffee dispensed in minute portions. Pool was lovely and the views from the roof great. The whole place just felt rather tired and unloved for a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here September 2022.Positives of this hotel is its location,5 minutes from the beach and hundreds of shops and restaurants.Breakfast has hot and cold choices which are very adequate and it is never to busy. The staff are very nice and helpful without ever being in your face. The hotel is very quiet at night with no entertainment if that is what you are looking for. Negatives,we stayed in room 204 it has the smallest shower I have ever seen so do not go to this room.Rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were fantastic.Pool is on the roof and there are always plenty of beds.Overall we enjoyed our stay just don’t expect any frills and enjoy the location.

Bathrooms in the hotel are old but in my case unclean: full of long dark hairs. The same dark hairs were on my bedlinen. I explained my bad experience to the recepcionist, but no solution was done or compensation at all. I sent a message to Customers' Hotel Service and no answer received either.

We stayed there for a week and it was lovely. The staff always on hand to help. We arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delay but still able to check in, they even changed our room to a double bed the next day. The room are clean and very comfortable with balcony (very important to dry swim stuff). On our last day our plane was not until late , so they let us use an empty room to have a shower and change before our flight so we were able to swim in both their pool and sea that day which was so good. The location is perfect as a short walk from town centre, all the sightseeing and the restaurant. Super near the beach too. You can also walk easily to the coach station and the pick up point for the organised tour is 2 min away. The hotel is very quiet at night and the breakfast garden so pretty and good choices. The pool is a great size on the roof with an amazing views my only negative are the opening hours. They are not very clear, the signs and who you asked you get different answers and it does not open until late in the morning so I was unable to have a swim before breakfast or before setting out for the day. It also closed at sundown , so unlike other hotels i have stayed you cannot have an evening swim after a long day sightseeing which is my favorite time to swim. Which is a real shame but that is my only negative about the hotel. The wifi was great in the room.

Our overall experience of this hotel was very good during two weeks in June 2022. We will consider this hotel for a revisit to Rethymnon, mainly because of the location, friendly staff and value for money. +Very good value for money. +Perfect location in the city center, but on a more quiet one-way street. Shopping, restaurant, cafes, the beach - everything is within 5 minutes walking distance. +Comfortable room (standard size double room on the 4th floor) with a nice balcony, air conditioning (free of charge), fridge, TV, free Wifi and a comfortable bed. Everything we needed except a coffee/tea-maker in the room. However, there is a bar in the reception area and 24 hour service at the reception if you need anything. +Our room was clean (regular daily cleaning during our stay). The entire hotel was clean even if it needs some refurbishment. +Very friendly staff! Very helpful, polite and service minded. +Good breakfast with a fairly good selection of hot (eggs & bacon) and cold food, and some tasty pastries. Very good local yoghurt and fruit. The coffee machine was not top notch, but we could get excellent coffee at several cafés close by. There was only one kind of juice available. +A rooftop pool with a beautiful view. (however, the rooftop bar was closed the whole time we were there. Get your drinks at the reception). Please note that there is no lifeguard or staff at the pool area. +A beautiful hotel backyard/garden, where you can have breakfast or just relax. Some negative remarks: -This hotel needs some refurbishment to meet the standard of newer 4 star hotels, especially the bathroom which was 100% functional but worn. -The bathroom is very small. We had to stand (or sit) in a very narrow and short bathtub in order to have a shower. If was difficult to keep my balance in the bathtub because it was so narrow. And it was equally difficult/ not possible to sit down for a grownup. Maybe suitable for a small child? We are both of average hight and weight, but struggled. We bought non-slip bath mats at the local super market to put in the bathtub. -The walls are thin and we could hear people pass outside our room, and people speaking in the other rooms. We were woken up a couple of times because other hotel guests were arriving during the night and talking loudly outside our room. But all in all, noise was not a problem during our stay and this is not a “party” hotel but a quiet and family friendly hotel for all age groups. -Wifi had poor speed/quality for normal surfing and streaming. Use your own mobile connection if you can.

Over two years ago I wired 600 Euros to this hotel to reserve a room for summer 2020 for a conference. When the conference was postponed for a year the hotel said the Greek Govt. would not allow a refund. The conf. was postponed in 2021 and 2022 and I asked for my deposit back many months ago. Excuses, excuses, delays, etc. I had go to the Greek Embassy in Washington for help. Then the hotel said the money was wired but so far more than week later NOTHING. These people WILL CHEAT YOU. Stay away!
