I went here with two friends for Sunday lunch and I can honestly say that it was the best meal I've ever had, eating out. I had roast lamb, which was absolutely delicious, the veg, eventhough it was 3pm, was cooked to perfection (not soggy or old ), the staff were great, friendly, polite and professional. We only had a main course as that was all we all could eat, there was that much. Really wanted a sticky toffee and custard dessert, but declined as I'd just be a glutton. Anyone that goes there, won't be disappointed....the place is FABULOUS for a great Sunday lunch...they do do other meals I'll certainly go back for other meals

First the slight down side. The hotel decor is a bit dated. It’s not a modern hotel in any sense. Aside from that everything was great. The rooms are large and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was no noticeable noise during the night. Only had breakfast which is ordered at the table and cooked to order. Everything was perfectly cooked. Throughout the stay all of the staff I dealt with were friendly and incredibly helpful. Would have no reservations about staying here again.
