The hotel is perfectly located, close to the train station, and yet very well soundproofed: we do not hear any outside noise from the room.
The breakfast was really superb.
To be able to fully enjoy it, we would have liked not to have the ”news” in the elevator, which are generally not good and which we would like to do without during a weekend :)

The location is right next to the train station, but a bit far from the city center.
The rooms are spacious and soundproofed.
The hot water in the bath is not stable.
Pay attention to the opening hours of the front desk when arranging your itinerary.

The location is excellent in the old city part, very close to my convention place with many restaurants nearby. The hotel building is old, with only one one-man elevator. The shower is very bad: a small tube just enough for one person standing. The water was small and the hot water was not hot enough. During my stay, the internet did not work. There were two nights with noisy party nearby until 2:00 am. The hotel is a 2.5 star than the 3-star hotel.

It is well located at centre of Rennes. I would recommend if you visit Rennes. It is walking distance to train station and walking distant to many restaurants.

The hotel is currently renovating the entire facade which was necessary...I was afraid that my studio would be a little dated but it wasn't, it was clean and well maintained...
The staff is welcoming, there are washing machines, a pure water fountain and a relaxation area...
There is a large car park at 10e per night
The area is very quiet and 10 minutes walk away there is old Rennes with lots of shops and restaurants

The room's decor, rather minimalist, lacks warmth.
Only one chair (for a double room) but two TVs (?)
In the bathroom, the mirror didn't turn on, and therefore there was no lighting above the sink.
I also regretted that the room didn't have a kettle and coffee and tea making facilities.
