Disappointing Experience at Sitwell Arms Hotel, poor communication, lack of organisation, subpar facilities, unreliable catering, rude staff, hidden costs, noise and disturbance. Our experience at Sitwell Arms was far from what we had hoped for on such a special day. Leading up to the event, we found communication with the venue staff to be highly unprofessional. Emails and calls went unanswered for days, and important details were frequently overlooked or forgotten. On the day of the wedding, it was clear that the staff was unprepared. The setup was incomplete, and several key elements we had discussed were missing or incorrectly arranged. This caused unnecessary stress and chaos for my family. The venue itself was not as well-maintained as advertised, the indoor facilities showed signs of neglect, such as dirty restrooms and outdated decor. The catering service provided by the venue was a major letdown. The food arrived late and was served cold. Additionally, some of the dishes we had specifically requested were missing, and the overall quality was disappointing. Many of the staff members were unhelpful and even rude at times. Their lack of professionalism and poor attitude added to the frustration of an already stressful day. We were unpleasantly surprised by several hidden fees that were not disclosed upfront. This significantly increased the overall cost of the event and left us feeling deceived. The venue was not properly insulated, leading to constant noise and disturbances from nearby events. This greatly affected the ambiance and intimacy of our wedding ceremony. Overall, our experience at Sitwell Arms Hotel was marred by poor service, disorganisation, and substandard facilities. We hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future clients. I would NOT advice anyone to get married here.
