Excellent service, good parking, good food and room size. The only down side is the potential danger of getting on to the main road leaving the hotel. Unfortunately we weren't offered a room with a balcony and Rhine view although the hotel didn't seem fully booked as I had expected having booked just a couple of days before arrival. The extra price would have been acceptable.

Last week my friend and I returned from what was to be a 3-night stay at this hotel, but unfortunately we came back one day early (September 1). It's a great hotel and the location is one of the best ever, on a hill overlooking the Rhine river and the town of Unkel on the other side of the river. The rooms are comfortable and have a good size. Great sauna and swimming pool. But there are 2 BUT's: 1. The noise from trains and cars passing below the hotel during the night made it impossible for my friend to fall asleep. It was warm and there is no air conditioning (they do supply a good working fan) but had to keep the windows open due to the heat. Perhaps there is less noise when one can keep the windows closed? 2. The food was below par. Due to staff shortages they served dinner buffet style. I believe the missing staff member was the chef or anyone in the kitchen with any "love for food". It was unappetizing, plain, tasteless - I'll leave it at that! I've lived and worked in Germany for 4 years and visit many times every year. I've always said that you can't have a bad meal in Germany.. I'm afraid I have to change my statement. Perhaps we were unlucky in staying at the hotel during this staff shortage and would love to read reviews of people who come after us - when there is "normal service" in the dining room.

Отель расположен на самом берегу Рейна. Номера небольшие, но вполне комфортные. Улучшенные имеют балкон с видом на реку, ТВ, холодильник. Питание вполне вкусное, есть выбор блюд. Внимательный персонал. Приемлемые цены в ресторане. Отель можно рекомендовать для проведения конференции или для тех, кто хочет абстрагироваться от городского шума и побыть в тишине.

Fijn hotel vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt simpel. Avondeten niet echt super erg simpel. Mooi op de heuvel liggend lekker gebied om te fietsen Zwembad leuk alleen ijskoud erg jammer. Aan de rijn met pond over naar andere plaatsjes. Daar meer te zien.

Wir haben mit Freunden ein Wochenende im Ringhotel Oberwinter verbracht. Ein gutes Arrangement mit gutem üppigen Frühstück, ein Abendessen in Büffetform und ein 4-Gang Menü mit Weinbegleitung, von Weinen aus der Region. Ebenfalls gehörte ein kleine Rheinschifffahrt von Remagen ＞＞ Königswintern und zurück mit dazu. Das Abendessen war sehr gut. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Von der Terrasse gibt’s einen tollen Blick auf den Rhein.
