I would like to share our NEGATIVE experience. Do not recommend, zero customer orientation. I really didn’t want to write it publicly, but after trying to talk with receptionist and the owner of the hotel, I would like to warn people before they book. Rooms are quite old, but I was okay with it. We took a suit with balcony (extra cost for balcony), specifically pre-selected hotel for families with kids. We were not able to use our balcony, and we had to close our windows, because our neighbours were smoking all the time on the balcony. We asked politely not to smoke, but they did not care. All smoke was coming inside our room. We asked management of the hotel compensation as we could not use our balcony, and had to stay inside with closed windows at this super hot weather (+32). Moreover because of poor separation between balconies, you hear your neighbours all the time. We were refused, and they really didn’t care about us. We were told by receptionist « that’s business, and we won’t forbid to smoke to our customers ». So they prioritise money and smoking clients, so it doesn’t fit for families, especially with kids! If something will go wrong, you will get zero help or compensation. Strongly do not recommend

Check in was strange. We had our name and room keys waiting for us on the staffless front desk. We did not arrive late, maybe 5pm. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We booked very last minute and received the last 2 rooms available located on the basement floor. The hotel is very quiet. The buffet breakfast was outstanding! Very fresh breads, an amazing assortment of fruits, cheeses, meats, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and more. I recommend renting the upper floor rooms with a fabulous view of the Bavarian mountains.

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable room. We were happy that the staff prepared the Saturday breakfast as a picnic due to our early morning trip. The only problem = Smelling of the room used by smokers.

Wir hatten Ende Oktober kurzfristig 4 Tage im Hotel Sonnleiten gebucht.Wir hatten ein Komfortzimmer gebucht und haben ein Zimmer im Untergeschoss bekommen, leider ohne Aussicht, aber dafür renoviert, mit einem Doppelbett mit sehr guten Matratzen und einem sehr schönen Seniorengerechtem Bad, mit erhöhtem WC und Waschbecken und alles sehr sauber! Zimmer5,0Service5,0Lage5,0 Leider hat das Hotel keinen Aufzug, daher mühselig mit Gepäck . Frühstück gab es im Hotel, zum Abendessen mussten wir 5 Minten gehen, war in Ordnung. Nennenswertes :Wenn das Hotel voll belegt ist , gibt es nicht genügend Parkplätze am Haus!

Vorsicht!!! Gastfreundlichkeit ist hier fehl am Platz. Auf Reklamationen während des Aufenthalt wurde nicht eingegangen. Fahrräder waren nicht verkehrstauglich und hatten Spinnweben angesetzt... Sauna war mini. Am Hotel hingen draußen 3 Sterne. Diese sind allerdings 2015 abgelaufen. Abendessen an einem Abend der Woche hatte Krankenhauscharakter. Frühstück naja, Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen aber Sauberkeit war okay. Würde von einem Urlaub dort deutlich abraten! Falls gewünscht können Fotos hochgeladen werden.

Die Zimmer sind, wie sie wohl in den 60er Jahren mal eingerichtet wurden. Völlig abgewohnt, uralter Teppichboden, schreckliche Vorhänge. Auch das Bad, in kleinster Weise mehr heutiger Standard. Im Keller gibt es drei modernere Zimmer von welchen wir eines aufgrund unserer Beschwerde eines bekommen haben. Das ist nicht urig wie mancher schreibt, das ist einfach nur alt und Abzocke.

Die Anreise war etwas holpprig. Da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war, lagen die Schlüssel auf dem Tresen. Dann sollte man die Anmeldung wegen der Kurkarten ausfüllen und abgeben. Haben wir gemacht, am nächsten Morgen. Uns wurde gesagt, die Kurkarten sind für uns nur an der Touristen Info erhältlich. Somit mussten wir ca, 30€ mehr für den Skipass bezahlen. Am nächsten Tag stellte sich heraus (Auskunft einer sehr kompetenten und freundlichen Mitarbeiterin), dass lediglich das Geburtsdatum des Kindes fehlte. Das wäre schnell zu lösen gewesen. Weiter liegen alle Kurkarten und Anmeldungen für jeden der hereinkommt, sichtbar auf dem Schreibtisch. Von Datenschutz keine Spur. Diesen leichtsinnigen Umgang mit Namen und Adressen, Personalausweisnummern finde ich sehr bedenklich. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war alt und kaputt. Sitzbänke mit kaputten Stoff, unangenehmer Geruch.

Die Zimmer sind alt, aber sauber mit einer schönen Aussicht. Das Hotel könnte modernisiert werden. Die Badezimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig Leckeres Frühstück. WLAN-Qualität könnte verbessert werden.

Bei der Ankunft hat das Zimmer leider sehr unangenehm nach Fäkalduft gerochen, sodass wir erst mal alle Fenster aufmachen mussten um den Geruch rauszubekommen. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt aber angenehm, Frühstück war reichhaltig, Service war in Ordnung.
