This hotel is not suitable for international guests: it is far from the city center, the front desk has very short working hours and can only speak French. I received an email from the hotel the day before check-in saying that they would send me the check-in information and key collection method the next morning, but I waited for a day and still didn't receive it. I called the front desk at noon to urge them, but the person there didn't speak a word of English. Ctrip urged them for a day but nothing happened. Finally, when I arrived at the hotel, I was lucky enough to meet another guest who opened the door for me. I saw two keys on the front desk, so I took one and moved in first. This is the most bizarre hotel service I have ever encountered...

The reviews are wrong. Don't book For having excellent reviews, we thought we were going to have a good stay. However, we waited 50 minutes out in the cold because the hotel was locked up. We got an email a few days before saying the office is only open from 7am-12pm and 3pm-7pm. We thought that was going to be fine since we werent going to be in the area until 3pm. We arrived and saw another couple that was waiting to check in. The told us that they had been calling, emailing, and checking around to see about check in as it was 3:10pm. Around 3:45pm the cleaning lady let us in to the building as it was freezing cold outside, to wait in the building until the desk person arrived. Around 4pm,a guy finally showed up and handed us keys. When we went into the room, we noticed it had not been finished cleaned. All things were off the floor, used soap bar was in the bottom of the shower, it smelled, and saw hair and dirty all over the floors. We requested for the floors to get vacuumed, they vacuumed the common area and not our room. There were no towels in the room, we had to request them. When we did get towels, they were really old and falling apart. We looked everywhere in the room and online for the wifi password and couldnt find it. Eventually we found it on a small paper at the front desk. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny and thin. The place was very expensive for what we recieved for accommodation. We understand that a 3 star hotel isnt going to be the nicest, but this was terrible.

There did not clean the fridge. There was a left over cola. They did not refill the shampoo. There was a bottle bit it was empty. There was also no extra toilet paper. After we request them, they put it into the room. But nobody knows English, so communication was really bad.

Small, local, independent style hotel. The facility was replacing it's hot water heater during our stay, we were called earlier in the day and advised we'd have no hot water, were offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. It's mid-summer so a quick, cold shower was acceptable. When asked, the front desk attendant advised us on how best to get to downtown Strasbourg by driving the short distance to Gare Hoenheim, parking for 4.20 Euro (4,20) which allowed up to 7 to take Tram B to downtown Strasbourg. It was an easy way to get to the heart of the city.

Great hotel in a picturesque setting. An ideal stop over on our way to the south of France.

We stayed here for three nights in early April, 2023. The hotel check-in is basically self-serve, whihc was perfect for us as we arrived early in the afternoon after a 3+ hour drive. Our room was not large, but the bathroom was nice-sized. There is a mini-fridge where you can keep your beverages and snacks cold. Hot water took a while and water pressure was not good; otherwise, a great stay!

This hotel is an absolute gem. We stopped here overnight on our way through France to Munich I hesitate to give it a good review as I don't want everyone to know about it! We arrived on a Sunday evening when the reception was not staffed but this was not a problem at all. We were provided with access codes to enter the building and the room and we were soon ensconced in our very comfortable and modern room overlooking the very attractive village. Unfortunately, as it was a Sunday, the best local restaurant was not open but there are a couple of other options in the village. There is an honesty bar at the hotel reception with a selection of beers, wines, soft drinks and snacks. Breakfast is very good with plenty of options and set in a delightful sunny room. The owner and staff were all so pleasant and friendly. This is an independently run hotel and has a truly personal touch. It is very clean, well decorated and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. Very good value too. It does not have a lift so this might be an issue for some travellers. The hotel has a couple of parking spaces right outside which we used but there also appeared to be plenty of parking on the street or in the small village car park just adjacent.
