Hotel Amelia

First of all: On the whole, we felt comfortable in the hotel. If you accept a few negative things - such as repairs that were actually necessary - the hotel is fine. However, for me it is not necessarily a 3-star hotel. Arrival: Positive: Friendly reception Negative: Contrary to the booking/confirmation, a room without a lake view was reserved. For the lake view, an additional 20 euros per day was charged, which is actually out of the question. The total amount had to be paid immediately; an invoice was not issued. According to the lady at reception, this is not done as a matter of principle. Only when we requested it did we receive an SMS with the amount. Hotel general: Location: Right on the lake and the pier. It is about 1-2 km to the sights. It is an old building, some of which is in need of renovation. There is a small bar in the hall and a restaurant terrace in front of the hotel. Parking: There are about 11 parking spaces (costs 5 euros per day); unfortunately, some of these were occupied by vehicles from the surrounding restaurants, so there was not always a free parking space. Staff: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Negative: The lamp in the elevator was attached with tape and the fan could have been cleaned. Some of the buttons in the elevator were pressed in. Room and bathroom: Our room was spacious and furnished with old-fashioned, somewhat worn furniture. The balcony was furnished. The bathroom was spacious with enough space to put things, but unfortunately there was no place to hang towels. Positive: The beds were very comfortable, the room had a kettle (coffee/tea was refilled daily) and a safe. The minibar that was advertised turned out to be an empty fridge, but that didn't bother us. So we were able to store our own drinks without any problem. Negative: Of 07 sockets, only 03 worked; the existing TV did NOT have any public channels, just a few private channels; the outside blinds did not work; the room was very stuffy. On the subject of cleanliness: This was fine, but unfortunately the room inspection after cleaning the new rooms left a lot to be desired. In the bathroom we still had a hand

Es gibt mit Sicherheit gehobenere Unterkünfte! Alles in allem sollte man berücksichtigen dass Corona die ein oder anderen gastronomischen Betriebe hat verschwinden lassen. Mein Zimmer, die 105, war sehr sehr sauber, hatte einen Mega Balkon mit einer super Aussicht und einer tollen Stimmung. Natalie hat mir noch abends einen Aperol Spritz gemacht, war sehr sehr freundlich beim Check in und das ist das was man in Bewertungen auch mit einbeziehen sollte. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und freue mich auf die herzliche Art von Natalie und auch auf ein sauberes Zimmer wie letztes Mal.
