First of all, the host is kinder and very polite. I contacted before check-in and was able to enter the room smoothly.
The room is very clean and fashionable design. Especially the shower room is large and you can spend very comfortable. Thank you for your welcome drink.

Very good value. It is located in the center of messin, so is a 10m walk from the main station. Signing in was a bit confusing as there was no one at the door to let me in, but a number was provided so I called and I was let in. My room card was already premade in an envelope near the entrance, so I didn't need to do anything further. Only bad thing is the drinks in the fridge aren't free and you will be charged if you drink them.

After a hectic journey we were greeted with a friendly welcome and bottles of water which were greatly appreciated in the heat. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The beds are comfy and we all had a good sleep. Right next door there is a lovely restaurant which serves Sushi and Italian cuisine, food was lovely and the service was top. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

I have stayed at il Galleone this summer together with my family the nights before and after my wedding. Il Galleone is conveniently located in the historical city centre, a stone away from the Duomo/Cathedral square. Everything is literally at walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat in the elegant and peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are well equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, hairdryer, fresh towels, toiletries etc.. They are very nicely decorated and elegant, so they suited perfectly the wedding pictures. The breakfast is kindly provided in the communal room where coffee facilities and pastries are served every morning. A special voucher is offered in addition to this for the very first morning when one can opt to have breakfast in one of the two historical coffee places located in the Cathedral Square, literally 100 metres from the Galleone. Such a bonus! Antonella and Rosario were perfect hosts (at times they felt like family), so welcoming and catering all the demanding needs a bride can have, always supportive and understanding. They went out of their way to make my family have the best experience possible during our stay and I will eternally be grateful to them for this. I highly recommend the Galleone to everyone who needs to be in Messina either for work or leisure. It's a special place run by very amazing people: You will feel like Home! Thank you so much!

GGuest UserThis property deserves the highest praise. Antonio is the nicest most generous person. Trip sold this to me as a two double bed room. Because of the room discrepancy by the seller, Antonio gave us a second room free of charge. This property is spotless, fresh and modern. The beds are new and comfortable , great clean linen. It has a balcony with ocean views close to everything. Perfect location. I’m not reviewing it high because of Antonio being so kind. It really is a great property.

GGuest UserExcellent position close to beautiful via Marina with old giant trees, elegant corso Garibaldi, the Harbour hidtofoils peer to Messina and the foremost interesting archeological museums with the impressive statues of Bronzi di Riace. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. The location is quiet and the staff is kind and supportive. There is also a small and good restaurant to solve the needs of a quick tasty dinner. The hotel claims four star but there are some doubts because of absence e. g. of courtesy slipperies and bathrobe, the non convenient location and unavailability of electric sockets ose to the bed nor USB ports.

GGuest UserGreat hotel located in a strategic location at the beginning of the longshore and near the city centre and the museum (where you can see the famous Bronze of Riace). Breakfast is absolutely to be improved for quality and quantity of products and for too tight hours (up to 9.30 from Monday to Saturday and Sunday to 10).
****new of the reception was a great suggestion for things to do in the city and surroundings.

GGuest UserMy boy and I stayed in this b&b for 14 nights. We were welcomed by Mr. Pasquale, who was friendly and available for all our stay. At the beginning there was written on the site that the parking was included and free but it was actually in the neighborhood or at payment or if you were well, you found it free after 18:00. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The bathroom was small but pleasant, the breakfast was very pleasant, it was made in a common kitchen where there was a different choice. One thing we didn't know was that in Reggio the water after 20/21 is removed until about 5 a.m. We would have liked to have heard it before and also from the parking. So, as we went in August, we had to reduce ourselves to return from the sea within a certain time to avoid being waterless and not to enjoy the services of the art. The bathroom had no common wastewater plant but a ship-like plant and therefore we could not throw more than a paper tool into the toilet because there was a risk that this would be stuck by bringing dirt water out of the toilet. You had to be careful as soon as you came out of this, because the floor was in parquet with the risk of it being destroyed, and there was neither a window nor a dust-aspirator. There was no balcony in the room, we would have preferred it had been there. The cleaning was not the best and the towels were not changed every day (we had the same towels for a week). The price quality ratio is very good, all in all we'll return.

116-BitFlashAfter a missed train connection left me looking for a last minute room in Reggio, I found myself in the Palace Masoanri truthfully because it was the cheapest room in the city. The location is also pretty handy, at the far end of Garibaldi from the Centrale train station (quicker if you get off at Lido station if possible) so it seemed ideal for what I required of it. Staff at the desk were perfectly friendly, and the lobby very nice and modern. Upon taking the elevator to my floor it became clear this was the only modern part of the hotel. Now this isn’t to say it’s awful, because it’s not, but clearly it hasn’t been updated since at least the late 1970s. This also stands for the rooms, and especially bathroom. Again, it’s not awful, but very dated. Room was clean, just old, and the air conditioning worked adequately. My only serious complaint was that there was a very definite smell of smoke rooted in the room. Overall the room was cheap, and served its purpose. Would I recommend it for a longer stay? No. For an overnight it is perfect though
