We were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

Breakfast with a wonderful view on the 4th floor was the best feature of this hotel. The room was small and the ensuite was desperately in need of an upgrade and all the towels were badly stained. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work in the rooms on the ground floor.

The staff is very kind, available to solve problems: since water was coming out of the bidet and the bathroom was flooded, they immediately changed rooms. The rooms need to be renovated immediately. I do not recommend choosing it, it's a shame, because it has a strategic location in front of the Reggio C. Lido station.

super friendly staff and attentive to your needs, strategic hotel location close to all the attractions (station, museum, seafront). The rooms should be revised and lived in (curtains and interior furnishings). The TV does not receive all the channels. Terrace with spectacular view. Excellent breakfast. Definitely good value for money

Stay away from this hotel...tomorrow I will notify those in charge...dirty sheets, very dirty shower, it should just close...unfortunately I haven't read the reviews otherwise with xxxxx I would have come here!!

I go for a short stay at the Lungomare hotel, excellent location, convenient especially for the location, beautiful view of the seafront from the terrace, very welcoming staff and clean room, abundant breakfast, more than honest price. Advised

Il soggiorno di una settimana in questo hotel è stato ampiamente soddisfacente. La stanza come da descrizione, certo un po’ datata, ma con un comodo materasso e cuscini. La pulizia sempre accurata, cambio lenzuola e asciugamani giornalieri. Il personale disponibile ha accolto le nostre richieste. La temperatura durante il nostro soggiorno era sui 27’ e abbiamo acceso l’aria condizionata alcune volte, temo che durante l’estate i vecchi infissi siano un grosso handicap. Il top si raggiunge con la colazione, ottima sia dolce che salata servita sul terrazzo al quarto e ultimo piano con vista spettacolare sul mare e sullo stretto di Messina.
