Days Inn by Wyndham Redwood City

The hotel hardware is OK, but the service is average! The swimming pool is unavailable! The parking is crowded and the car is full! The sign of the hotel at the intersection is not easy to find, it is not obvious, it is easy to overdo it as soon as it opens, it can only be general!
Courtyard Redwood City

This hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Redwood City but has very good amenities. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is odd that housekeeping service is optional and only on offer every other day at most. Another undesirable holdover of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nice pool and gym facilities on site. The Bistro in the lobby area serves Starbucks coffee, nice breakfasts and quick suppers. The pantry by the front desk has a good variety of snacks & refreshments on offer, though the prices are steep. Staff are friendly and helpful
Redwood Creek Inn

This was the second place I stayed in Redwood City and it was soooo much better. Most importantly, it was clean!! Appears to have been recently remodeled, memory foam mattress, new paint, blinds and fixtures. The front desk employee (BM) was excellent - he was friendly, considerate, helpful and hardworking-he was always there whether it 8am or 9pm! Good location - Franklin Cafe across street-excellent breakfast, Whole foods next door, many other shops and food across street. Train located by cafe. My review is based on what was important to me HOWEVER, website says pool - there isn't one but there is a nice seating area where pool was/is supposed to be. When I was there breakfast is continental - juice, toast, muffins and coffee. I would definitely stay again!
Atherton Park Inn and Suites

A well-regulated roadside hotel, very motel style. Although the number of varieties of breakfast is not much, it is very clean and there are not many people and it is very kind. The price is reasonable and it is worth trying.
Holiday Inn Express Redwood City-Central
4.4/5114 Reviews
I'm on a field assignment working in Redwood City. The Holiday Inn Express Redwood City-Central is an interesting hotel. I like the complimentary EV charging stations. The hotel is compact. The lobby is small, one elevator, my room is small. But I like it. As a single business traveler a smaller room is good. Ample covered parking. I read a review about security problems. I don't know about that. There appears to be only two entrances into a small lobby. Anne at the front desk was very helpful. I asked about a near by place to have dinner. She suggested Harry's Hofbrau across the street. Very cool place, I enjoyed my Tri-Tip dinner and pliny or two while watching sports at the bar. There is a nice vending, ice, laundry nook off the third floor elevator lobby as well as a business area with printer. My room has everything I expect. Ample plugs and USB ports. Lighting is good. The double electric blinds were a nice feature. The desk and office chair are lacking but workable. Bad office chair. I like the personal greeting letter and card from housekeeping in my room. I do hear street noises but hope that will not be a problem.
Grand Bay San Francisco Hotel

It's really far from the big spectrum. First of all, there are many additional fees here. Even if you prepaid on Trip.com, you need to pay the various miscellaneous fees they set up at the store, about $45-50 dollars per day. On the day of check-in, I found that I was inexplicably brushed with more than 1,200 US dollars + 500 pre-authorization. I didn't take it too seriously and thought it was a problem with Trip.com and the hotel settlement. Contact Trip.com to let them solve it. Solving for two days, the communication has been bad, Ctrip really experience 0 points, various customer service changes, one push, no one solves the problem. Said that the hotel gave the agent feedback without brushing more. I went to the front desk myself. The front desk promised to tell me that there was no money and I couldn't find it, but the bank told me that the money was not pre-authorized and the transaction was successful. I couldn't bear it, called out their manager, and then talked about the situation, and I told her not to go to my name or the consumption in my room, go to the exact number, and then see what happened. She and I pulled out all the hotel transaction records in the past few days. We sat at the front desk to check it out. It turned out that the employee who checked me in before just swiped my card for pre-authorization when I checked in. Then I counted the room rate of the previous customer who checked out on my head, and used my card to pay for the room rate for others... I was really stunned, I have never heard of a hotel like this. And there are a lot of messy fees, and you have to pay a lot more every day. It is not the cost of booking a room at all. In short, it will not be booked again. Everyone really avoids the pit.
