Been coming as a family for a few years for a Sunday carvery, always been lovely, my autistic son has always brought his own packed lunch which has never been questioned, we've never been made to feel uncomfortable. Today he finally plucked up the courage to try the burger and chips, he ate most of his lunch and even had choc fudge cake for pudding, it was a stress free Sunday lunch which we all enjoyed. The new decor looked fantastic, everything was clean and tidy as always. Here's to many more Sunday lunches 😁

Went today after their refurbishment, place looks modern and lovely. Had a large carvery (too big for me) which was very nice. Good choice of veggies and all cooked nicely. Choice of three meats today. Pleasant and helpful staff, will return.

Had a lovely warm welcome by all the staff So friendly and nice Also all professional I called in for the amazing Sunday carvery which ticked all the boxes great quality and cooked so well I loved it I must however mention a very nice young lady that was extremely helpful to me and from what I seen a credit to this establishment The young lady was Mea very Professional, hard working and polite I was a solo traveler and she put herself out to make me feel so welcome thank you Mea Regards Martin

Hotel looks shabby from the outside, decor inside really dated, but is made up for with the quality of the food and friendly service.

Dirty carpets. Too many 'plug in the wall' air fresheners. Bread being kept in an old bird avery at the rear. The room we stayed in was tired. Paint peeling on the radiator, curtains too small.
Would not stay again.

A freezing cold building worn out decor, they switch the heating off late into the night.
The restaurant was poor, poorly prepped and inedible
