Holiday Inn Express & Suites Red Wing

Pros: Property is relatively new and extremely well-maintained. An excellent location. Breakfast was decent and there were several hot selections. Breakfast room was very clean and items were frequently replenished. Our room was more spacious than most; coffee, tea options in room and lobby. Nice bedding Cons: WiFi was available on our phones but we were unable to sign in on our computers for the duration of our stay. Tap water the morning of our departure was mysteriously milky in appearance. Lobby seemed to rotate staff from job to job so desk was often unmanned. Pricing was somewhat high for a Holiday Inn Express

Staff was helpful and kind. In town for a wedding. Breakfast in am was so nice too. Thank you

The price and quality don't match The hotel was fine but I think the price was high for the quality. Here are a few examples: - Looks like they hired a someone who usually designs prisons to design their hotel - everything gray and very bland. Weird single seat lounge chair in the room. - Nice solid core bathroom door that would have been great if it actually closed but to open or close it, was really noisy so if you use the bathroom at night, either leave it open or wake everyone in the room. - Carbon monoxide detector is probably a nice edition but it had a bright green light that made the room super bright and it was under the desk so there was no easy way to cover it. All in all, the room was fine but you could stay at a much nicer place for the same cost.

Rooms were really nice and breakfast was excellent. Very nice staff.

It was extremely clean and the lady at check-in was personable and friendly.
