Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Allentown-Fogelsville

We had had a long day traveling and just want a place to grab a few hours of sleep. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and walls, stains on couch and food in between cushions, huge stain on mattress, stains on bathroom door, stains on carpet and food left on fridge. We stayed in order to get a few hours of rest but had it not been 1am in the morning would have complained and asked for refund of points wasted in the stay. I wouldn’t recommend anyone subject themselves to a stay here.

It's the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff are really kind. You will feel like at home.

I stayed for a single night in March at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Allentown- Fogelsville. Going in I was healthy & leaving I had head lice. I have been itching since then, so about 1 1/2 months now. I’ve tried 3 types of treatment on my scalp (latest being yesterday) & I’m still itching. So I will be going to my dr now to see if there is maybe a prescription treatment. After complaining the hotel manager contacted me saying their cleaning was adequate & thorough. Head lice don’t normally live off the body & die within 24hrs. I was itching about 3 days after which fits the timeline. I went to a drive in movie & other than that I was home. I got them from the hotel! Their statements are inaccurate too. I’ve never had head lice before & wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I now understand why people bring their own pillows to a hotel! I worry about other cleaning they do. What else might you get sick from?!

Stayed for one night & the bed was comfortable, maybe because the head lice were nesting there & on the pillows? I left feeling fine, but 3 days later I was itching my scalp & felt like little things crawling on my scalp. Yes, I had head lice. I did not go anywhere after the hotel that I was in contact with other people. We went to a drive in movie (so sat in our car) then drove home & stayed home for the next 2 days. It is now 1 1/2 months later & I think I have finally gotten rid of my head lice. 3 different treatments later & I still get freaked out thinking I had these little mites living on my scalp. I've never had head lice before, and wouldn't wish this on anyone. I complained to the hotel & their response was: "Head lice do not like to reside off the human head as the ambient temperature is not appropriate and their food source is not there. After being off the head for about 24 hours, head lice will die on their own. Because of this, the most common way to contract head lice is by way of direct contact with another person’s head who has lice." This is untrue, head lice are rarely found in hotels, but they can be & they definitely can live for more than 24 hours. Obviously they do not have cleaning protocol, which is scary in so many ways. I would tell everyone to stay far away from this establishment. I will also bring my own pillows everywhere I go now as I am so scared because of this incident.

my husband and I made a trip to see our nephews and we stayed here. one word, FANTASTIC! the room was clean and the people were so friendly! plus, having cracker barrel in the same lot, wasn't too bad either. we will be staying here again!

Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in.. do not get room 319. Mattress had large urine stains on it.. was old and worn out. Room was very...very dirty. Many hairs on everything. Bathroom mostly. ***** hairs all on walls and in corners.. also in sink and bath tub. Toilet was dirty and had urine all over the sides and lower portion. Also, they had a pipe burst that afternoon and we didn't check in till 10:30pm. My wife wanted to shower as we had a wedding all day outside in June. So she proceeded to take a shower and the maintenance crew shut the water halfway through her shower. No pre warning. She had to get a bottle of water and clean all the soap off herself. Then they proceeded to do repair work with alot of noise until 1am.. I made a complaint. They never contacted me. So I called and they said that I had to call booking .com and they would give me a half refund. What a joke.. very ignorant owners property manager. Didn't even pick his head up as he walked past me as we where checking out. For your health and sanity. Do not stay at the garbage excuse for a SUITE.. lol.. it is a pig with lipstick on it.. it is a very dirty pig.. gross.. only positive was a gentleman name Trevin who was taking care of the free breakfast and area was clean and he was very nice. He should be in charge.. what a joke this place. Again DO NOT STAY HERE.. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY URINE STAINED BEDS AND ***** HAIR EVERYWHERE. GROSS.

It was a very wonderful, comfortable, and inviting place to stay. I stayed in room 300 which was a king bed suite. The sitting area was delightful, the internet gave me no issues, and I loved the fridge that was slightly larger than normal little mini fridges. I was actually able to keep my ice bucket in the freezer so it didn't keep melting and I had to go for more ice. I would most definitely stay here again.

This was a great affordable one night stay. Place was very clean, bed was comfortable, sheets soft and of good quality, Dove soaps and shampoo in the bathroom, large tv, good internet service and refrigerator in the room.. Pretty good breakfast included in the price. Staff was nice and very helpful. .
