We've stayed in the cottages twice, and will definitely be back! The location is perfect for wineries and close to Watkins Glen. A quick 3-minute drive and you're in the heart of Watkins Glen. The cottages themselves are private, very clean, and very cozy. Check-in was easy. 100% recommend!!

I stayed one night in August 2025. The room was clean, comfortable, in good shape, and reasonably priced. Wifi was spotty. The free breakfast was minimal. Outdoors, the location left a bit to be desired and it was noisy from trucks on a nearby steep highway. I'd use them again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and clean. The bed was comfy. The outdoor deck overlooked the lake which was a relaxing way to end the day. The only thing i was disappointed with was the breakfast was limited even though they did have fresh fruit.

The Anchor Inn is currently under construction. When completed, it will be a pretty nice place to stay. Even though it was under construction, it was still comfortable. The motel is just outside of town so there is not as much traffic going to and from the place. The beds were very comfortable and there was not a lot of noise from neighbors even though the place appeared to be booked up. We stayed in a room vs renting one of the cabins in back. I wouldn't recommend this place though if you are going during bad weather. The entrance is steep.

The cottage was super clean, kitchen had everything (large fridge), utensils needed to make meals. The bed was super firm and pillows excellent. It was quiet and peaceful. The views from all windows and the outside balcony deck was awesome!

The Anchor Inn has one of the best views of Lake Seneca from your balcony but that's where the good stuff begins and ends. The room was not very clean, cobwebs around the bed. And while it was advertised as breakfast included, it was the skimpiest continental breakfast we have ever seen. A couple of pieces of fruit, some very small packaged sweet cakes and a pot of coffee. Disappointing.

We loved our little cottage. Such pretty views overlooking the Lake. Beds and linens were comfy. Premise was clean and inviting. It had everything we needed. Just a kettle missing but we found one at Walmart. We thought the Tiki bar was closed for the season but surprise..we had the best time at their Halloween party. Our missing was to hike Watkins Glen park and it was incredible. Great place to stay.
