This Kokotel hotel just opened in July 2025.
This group, which has several hotels in Thailand, has opened a new location in Rayong. This is a rebranding of a previous hotel.
The pool is located on the third floor, directly in front of Mae Lapung Beach.
There's a small mart and surf shop one minute to the left of the hotel as you face the ocean. I stayed here for surfing.
While the location is great for surfers, it's a bit inconvenient for others. There are several restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven is more than 3 kilometers away, which is inconvenient.
Having just opened, operations have yet to be fully established, and the lack of cleaning and loud construction noise during my stay from July 28th to 31st are negative aspects. I usually stay at Kokotel Khao Lak and Chiang Rai, but it seems like headquarters needs to do more training and inspections to improve quality.
The reception staff worked hard, too.

The location was great, right in front of the beach, and the rooms were clean!
The staff were also very kind and I left something behind, but they kept it for me, which was really helpful!
The only thing I'd like to see improved is that the hose for the washlet in the toilet was broken, so you couldn't turn the water on or off unless you turned off the main valve.
Other than that, it was very comfortable!

The hotel is after renovation and still under renovation! The rooms are clean, everything is snow-white, both linen and walls, new plumbing, but the staff remained as at the old hotel, namely, they do not take care of everything that was built. The rooms are cleaned well, but the common areas - the corridor, elevator, entrance group are dirty. I hope when the hotel is completely renovated, they will do everything as it should be. The breakfast is very good, buffet. Overall, we liked the hotel and I can recommend it for a vacation, if the price does not change!
