My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Rawlins, last night and had an exceptional experience. The front desk person was friendly and welcoming, the room was quiet and clean. We had free WiFI and a nice breakfast this morning. It was also easy to find, right off of I-80. They had a nice pool and hot tub area we did not use but some kids were having a blast. We will definitely be back!

I was skeptical that the reviews of this place could match up to the price, i.e., budget prices and strong reviews. This place is certainly an old school motel but you get more than you pay for. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were amenities like a fridge and coffee maker. I was a little uncertain about noise and security at first but my worries were misplaced. No questionable characters lurking about or noisy traffic but I'll grant that it's not exactly a scenic spot and it is on a busy road. However, it's walking distance to downtown and places to eat. As you can see from other reviews this isn't for everyone but I had a great overnight stay.

We stopped in Rawlings last minute for a quick rest before our final destination and we’re extremely pleased to find an amazing comfort motel at a reasonable price that we were able to bring our pets to. The room was clean and inviting and exactly what we needed for the few hours we were there. Thank you so much for the much needed respite. We’ll definitely be staying at Best Western from now on. We checked in later in the day. After waiting a lengthy time at the desk, for the now absent clerk, as we couldn’t get into our room, then three attempts to get into a room and a room change we finally got into our room. We booked this property as it had a restaurant and bar. When we checked in we were informed the restaurant was closed. When we were handed our key we were told to not drink the water and offered two bottles. What the gal failed to mention was that the whole town was under a boil water advisory and all food places were closed. That would have been valuable information. We could then have avoided driving all over looking for supper. The room was clean, perfectly fine and we had a quiet sleep. The hallways and stairs were filthy.
