Hotel Italia is a gem. We were fortunate to book this hotel - We arrived at the Port of Ravenna on board the Royal Caribbean Explorer. Ravenna is a beautiful but small city. Taxis are scant. Hotel Italia is just steps from the Central Train Station and Town center. This Family-run Hotel has everything a traveler needs. We are most grateful to Tomasso and Il Duca for their help, and their warm welcome.

Enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night. Good breakfast with scrambled egg choice on the buffet. Hallway carpets are worn. Location was within walking distance of the churches with mosaics. There is a parking area on the hotel property with several spots and we were lucky to park in one of the last spots at 17:30. Our window overlooked the train station rail yard, which was not a problem for us, because it is better to hear romantic trains during the night than the random acceleration of automobiles on Viale Giorgio Pallavicini. No problem sleeping with the trains. The double bed was plenty large.

After arriving in Ravenna via train, we attempted to find a Taxi to get us to the cruise port. With no luck after almost an hour, we walked to the Hotel Italia where we where received by a very friendly gentleman manager who went out of his way to assist us. He personally took it upon himself to arrange a Taxi for us and within 2 minutes one arrived. What great service considering we were not guests of the hotel. Clearly service is still a value at Hotel Italia.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to suggest the best visiting routes for sights in Ravenna. Rooms are simple, but more than adequate. The proximity to the train station is a plus.

sono stato alla"hotel Italia per la maratona di Ravenna. hotel senza troppe pretese ma in posizione strategica , vicino alla stazione, e per chi arriva con la macchina anche un parcheggio vicino alla struttura. Convenzione con la maratona , ci hanno permesso di tenere la stanza oltre il tempo dovuto per poter fare una doccia al termine della gara. Personale cortese e disponibile , buona la colazione inclusa . Consiglio vivamente

Il proprietario è veramente una brava persona, l hotel pulito e confortevole, l unico problema è la zona, la sera c'è il degrado pieno di extracomunitari, dopo una certa ora non vorresti più uscire perché l hotel e vicino la stazione, molto vicino al centra di Ravenna per fare una passeggiata

Insieme ad altre 3 persone abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel. Prenotato il giorno stesso in mattinata per arrivare da loro alla sera, si è presentato pulito, comodo al centro e con una buona colazione. Personale accogliente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo centrato. Approvato e consigliato

Personale gentilissimo, colazione abbondante, camera pulita, un tre stelle + onestissimo. Parcheggio privato molto apprezzato. 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della splendida Ravenna. Da raccomandare. Aprile 2024, purtroppo solo una notte.
