Great hotel within steps of the main square with friendly staff. My room was quite large with a queen and a twin bed. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was there at the end of the season in early November, so it was quiet and lovely.

Two night here whilst walking. We had a superior room with sea view. A really nice hotel with helpful staff and a good feel about the place. We ate there both night and the food was well cooked and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. My impression was that some of the rooms may have been quite small.

Booked it on line after reading reviews. Location is the best on the Amalfi coast. Family owned for generations, and they are very proud of it. Quaint place but the views from the balcony are outstanding. Lovely room out onto a balcony. Very comfortable. Great breakfast Short walk into the village of Ravello which has a church and the magnificent Villa Gimbrone. Amazing ceramic stores especially Cosmolema's. We flew to Naples and the hotel arranged a pick up. Its about a 90 minute trip cost 150 Euros. We taxied down to Amalfi and left out bags with the Amalfi Porters (very trustworthy) and got a ferry to Sorrento

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We went with a large group for a wedding and the staff at the hotel made it a wonderful experience. The hotel is well maintained and family run. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and although everyone was great, I really have to say a big 'thank you' to Suita and Tiziano for ensuring all our needs were met, and Davide for making sure we always had fun. The rooms were larger than we anticipated from the pictures online, and we had a room facing the sea (room 7) which had a balcony the opened onto a huge terrace overlooking the coast. It made for a great view. The room was clean and in good condition. The hotel is located a few minute walk from the main square. We had no issue walking over, getting out fill of the more crowded core and then walking back to the quiet and peace of the hotel. Overall great time and I would recommend this hotel.

Our small group of six elderly people just returned from one week in wonderful Ravello. We loved our stay in hotel Bonadies, an old, charming hotel with quiet location, walking distanse to everything and breathtaking surroundings. Our room was facing the sea, had no balcony but with very easy access to beautiful roof terrasses where we had our morning coffe. The rooms were cleaned every day by an always smiling and hardworking lady, who made sure we had everything we needed. The whole staff in the hotel was always very plesant and helpful, which made a difference as one in the party was partly disabled. Breakfast was good, and we can also recommend dinner in the restaurant which we had twice. If we should wish for a change, it would be that the opening hours for the pool was longer. The pool area opened at 0900 and closed at 1730. We understand that they needed a safety guard present, but this has never been an issue anywhere else. Also if it is possible to install a handicap ramp in connection with the main entrance? It would make it easier for a person with handicap walker. Apart from that, be aware that as soon as you get a bit outside the senter of Ravello there are steps everywhere. Try some of the small, narrow paths along the hillsides, it is breathtaking. Also the steps down to Minori. It is worth the time. The busses are not always on time, which is understandable when you see the horrible traffic going up and down the hill. We also several times experienced that we didnt get on the bus at all, from Amalfi and Minori, because it was already full. Taking a taxi is VERY expencive, but what do you when you have already waited two hours for the bus. Take the steps back up to Ravello. But at the end of the day it is all worth it, wonderful Ravello. A nice place to eat by the way is Ristorante Pizzeria Palazzo Della Marra along the lower road to Piazza Duomo, specially the small garden.

I’ve been to numerous places, and I can vouch for this hotel as the top pick when it comes to value for money. This is a place I’d revisit – and that speaks volumes. • Location: I was on the hunt for a hotel boasting a magnificent sea view (after all, the view is what draws most to the Amalfi coast) - and this place doesn’t disappoint. Choose a balcony spot during breakfast; the entire coastline stretches out before you. Speaking of breakfast, it’s delightful with an extensive selection. • My Room: It had a touch of vintage charm, which feels just right for a hotel steeped in history. The staff were outstanding and accommodating; they parked my car in their lot, granted me an upgrade without even asking, and waited up until midnight for my check-in due to a delayed flight. All in all, I left with fond memories and a fantastic experience. If you find yourself in Ravello, don’t miss out on this gem.

This was the last leg of a long awaited holiday Italy and in Ravello where we were attending a wedding. We were so very disappointed at the condition of the hotel and poor service. Our room said private balcony but which lead onto a further balcony that was public with sun beds and a restaurant. It had agate to it but didn’t shut. The room was dirty and worn out - the bathroom door would not shut and the toilet was behind the door so you had no space to,use the toilet. I opened the free toiletry Boxes to find some empty. There were holes in the walls. No safe. One light. One small mirror. Door fell off cupboard. Wardrobe hinge was broken. The bed was so hard I asked for a change and nothing happened, I had to get 2 blankets out of the wardrobe to sleep on as I’d had no sleep for 2 days. Breakfast: went to breakfast an hour after it opened to find Nothing left, nothing had been replaced, food was left on all the tables even though the “one” ! waitress had cleared the dishes away she left the tables covered in food. The drinks machine was on one broken leg and the leak in the ceiling had not been painted. The pool in the photos have plants and a barriers but these were no where to be seen. The photos of this hotel are very deceiving. We will add photos later. Ravello in itself is stunning and hope to return. I agree with previous comments it was Like faulty towers except it was not so funny.
