Rauriserhof 4 Sterne Superior

We visit this hotel every year and we are soo grateful to all who work at the hotel. They are so kind and caring. They work so hard to make your stay there, the best it could be. Jamel & David are fantastic in the bar, Miklos is wonderful on reception too, with the rest of reception team. They are always smiling and ready to help. The food is fabulous, the rooms are very comfortable and the hotel owners, Martin & Sandra are always around, mingling with their guests to make sure your stay is perfect. A wonderful place. You have Super Christian in the Spa area. He helps with face and body scrubs. Lots of good activities like snow walking, candle light walks. Thank you for the PREFECT skiing holiday .

We know a good hotel when we find one...this is definitely one. The staff make the place and the team here is excellent...all of them..a few namechecks for those who especially helped us...in the restaurant -Laszlo, Tommi , Rene... On reception Gabbi and Miklos... and a special mention for Ina on the hiking and snow shoeing. All requests met. Great food ( some pics attached)...Not convinced that crusty baguette constitutes a course though and would have welcomed maybe some salmon/ charcuterie/pate amongst the salads which were wholly veggie. The pool is fabulous and very large as well as open long hours. The outdoor pool is fabulously warm and a treat to go in when it's sub zero. Usual scenario with the Crystal rooms...you get the lower end of the scale but they're OK ( strangely the corridor was a much better decor than the room..117 ). I strongly suggest though that tea/coffee facilities be provided...we checked ahead and brought a small travel kettle...you shouldn't be expected to pay 3/4 Eur for a tea etc outwith breakfast time in my opinion. Ahh..breakfast...excellent in all respects..great egg cooking station, tomato juice...smoothies. Could have used some slightly more exotic fresh fruits perhaps..maybe kiwi..maybe blueberries..maybe a fruit compote..can't remember whether marmalade or not! , but lovely honey ( Inc honeycomb). Bacon. Smoked salmon sometimes. Plenty for the sweet toothed and the savoury lover.. Sylvester: fantastic. Wines pre-ordered to help with service...Good move. Started at 6pm with drinks and canapés...meal at 7...with the live band who were outstanding ( they have used this band for 20 years and I can see why).my kind of music too.( Van, Creedence, Steve Miller, Neil Diamond etc) up until 12...fireworks...midnight buffet ( didn't have any because full!) then DJ in the bar area until 2.30 a.m( bit of everything...Abba, schlager ...). A great night. We as non-skiers had a great time..the hotel and staff made it so.

I can only echo what has been said. It may have been a peculiar snow year raising challenges for the resort and those skiing but the Spa Hotel is delivering a 5 star experience. We upgraded to a South facing deluxe room. It was kept beautifully and was luxurious. The lounge is very relaxing. David and Jamil quietly anticipate your drinks after your first visit with such politeness and happiness and keep the fire crackling. The spa was very welcome. We enjoyed a perfectly delivered massage. Christian’s wellness sauna / steam experiences must not be missed - incredible - but I shall not divulge more - please just embrace and do it !! The food and restaurant service is second to none, beats me that it isn’t recognised by the likes of Michelin. The unexpected but welcome excellent complementary lunch a pleasure after skiing or hike. Two excellent gala evenings were very welcome. For most of our stay we were treated to service by Michael whose unobtrusive attentiveness and ambition to make each dining experience superb never failed. I could mention many more but actually all Team Rauriserhoff staff have been excellent. Thank you. We did not try the tennis or gym but did take advantage of complementary snow shoe hikes , candle lit walks and management evening drinks reception . Can not help but mention Christian again for the hikes for his cheerful open sharing of so much regional knowledge. I think the 2 hours hike gently extended to 4 hours as all the group were enchanted and absorbed by his energetic and charming delivery . I am sure this would be just as an exciting place for a summer break as much as it is a winter ski spa hotel . Well done and thank you Team Rauriserhof.

So this Hotel is very special indeed. It is in the most picture perfect location in the Alps. A stunning, and laid back local village where the people are so relaxed. The hotel facilities are more akin to a large 5* franchise. Beautiful spa including multiple sauna options, indoor sauna, red light sauna and an outdoor rock sauna, steam room etc. Large heated indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool finished in stainless steel which means it’s spotlessly clean. Relaxing in this pool after a hard days skiing, while the steam rises into the sub zero air, surrounded by snow capped mountains is just heavenly!! My favourite part of staying at this hotel is the staff. They learn very quickly about what a customer likes and implement it almost telepathically amongst each other. For example when we would arrive in the dining room for breakfast, our preferred coffees and hot chocolate for the girls would be waiting for us at our table. Again at dinner, preferred drinks and off menu pasta dishes for the girls would arrive before we had to ask. Just exceptional service and attention to detail. For us, Michael is a master at the above. Top class! Thank you Micheal for a wonderful dining experience. The food is outstanding!!! High end, fine dining without the hefty price tag. For me, the tuna with wasabi risotto was the winner for the week. Unbelievably good! Last but not least, the lads in the bar, Jamil and David ( where we spent more time than we should have ) are sooo good at what they do. They are such great fun, spending time with each and every guest while effortlessly delivering copious amounts of tasty drinks. One more very nice touch, the owners, Martyn and Sandra host a drinks reception on one evening each week to personally welcome each and every guest. Overall this is a superbly run family hotel that I, and my family just love going back to. Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Just back from a fabulous week stay at this hotel.. the owners Sandra and Martin run this hotel excellently. They are always around to help with an issue or questions you have. The staff are absolutely amazing and a credit to them. Especially the bar men Jamel and David. The food is unreal. Fine dining standard. But also my children can be fussy with food and the chef made them their own pasta dish. The waiters Especially Michael was so attentive by the end of the week we didn't even have to ask for anything he had it already there eg the drinks. I also had a fall on the slopes and Martin the owner arranged the ambulance a d gave us great advice and comfort. Even leaving with a broken wrist this was an amazing week at this hotel. We'll done guys

Our second visit to this beautiful Hotel. I cannot fault anything about this hotel, the food is top class; waiters are excellent; bar staff super friendly and spa facilities excellent. Christian and ina provide valuable information and knowledge about local hikes and organise guided walks from the hotel. Thanks to Jamal and David and Michael for your excellent service once again ! We will definitely be returning soon !
