Our stay was very good. Ali arranged everything for us. All transfers and he always replied within a few minutes when we texted him for questions. Cleaning service was every day. Rasdhoo is nice!

The hotel was very nice. We liked how the bathroom was partially outdoors, nevertheless the bathtub didn't work. I had mixed feelings about breakfasts - Maldivian option was ok and the beans were great, but one day when day served sausages my pescetarian girlfriend didn't find anything edible for her. The biggest complaint was getting there and actually communication issues that were the main cause of the situation. We were getting there from another island through Malé. Our speedboat had two stops in Malé - i.e. at the airport (Hulhumalé island near the international terminal) and at the Jetty No 1 in Male City. We asked the hotel if our boat would leave from the airport and the answer instead of "yes, go to the counter F3 in the international terminal" was the most misleading thing we could get that is the information that the ferry is from Hulhumalé Terminal. Now we need to put that into perspective. What they meant was: "yes, the boat departs from the airport, you can get there from Malé by the public ferry that goes from Hulhumalé Terminal". The thing was we didn't ask about that and what we got from it was: "no, your boat (as some tend to call all the scheduled boats ferries) departs from Hulhumalé Terminal". So we didn't get off at the airport, went to Malé and then we had really short time to get from Malé back to the airport...

Very kind and helpful owner and the staff. Very nice ambience. Clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Bikini beach is close by. The guesthouse offers many activities like kayaking, sand bank trip, fishing. They also have snorkels and fins for guests to use

Really enjoyed my stay at Quick Sand. The staff were friendly and Ali was an exceptional host. He provided lots of valuable information and was often available to answer my questions. The place was always very clean and really well kept. The alfresco eating area was lovely. Would recommend QuickSand as a place to stay for those wanting a taste of a lovely local island.

My wife and me went to this place for 10 days during December. Overall there is really nothing to complain. The manager as well as all staff members always wanted our best. If we asked for something, we got it. Current issues mentioned by previous guests (breakfast selection etc.) are currently being fixed, so the manager told us. Although we also thought the breakfast selection wasn't "great", this is not a reason to complain. You are guest on a local island and therefore should know the differences to "resort islands". Regarding that note, we would ALWAYS go back to local islands (which we twice did already) You will not get a better insight in Maldivian lifestyle or meet as many amazing people as you do here.
If you are looking for a local island (especially for diving), you should go to Rasdhoo. and if you are looking for an amazing and affordable place with amazing and friendly people, QUICKSAND is your place!

Great place to stay for a couple days and enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving. The staff is extremely friendly, make sure to go to th sand bank and enjoy some scuba diving. The hotel provides scuba diving full set for free for you to roam around the island.

We stayed at Quicksand for our first week in the Maldives, and we really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, the hotel has a good location very close to the bikini beach (even though nothing is far away on Rasdhoo) and the room and especially the beds were very comfortable.

Super guest house nous avons deux chambres une double pour mon mari et moi et une triple pour nos enfants. Les chambres sont spacieuses la literie est très confortable il y a un frigo dans la chambre ainsi qu’un sèche cheveux mis à disposition Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de buffet il est copieux et plutôt local Le personnel est très agréable et serviable Les plus : prêt de masque tubas et palmes, à notre arrivée la chambre était parfumée c’était très agréable, il y a du café de l’eau chaude et froide tout au long de la journée disponible pour les résidents ce qui est très agréable, il est très bien placé la plage pour les touristes est au bout de la rue Bref nous avons adoré merci pour tout
