The hotel was reception staff was friendly & accommodating. We had early departure time day of checkout. Front desk assured us the hotel staff “overnight reception attendant”would give us a courtesy ride to the train station. When we went downstairs, the gentleman charged us €50 to take us to the train station, I had no euros left so I offered a credit card he couldn’t take the credit card, and he couldn’t give me a receipt. He said he would take me to an ATM so I could withdraw money. I told him I don’t have atm card, he then charged me $50 cash. He obviously was doing this under the table and this is not a requirement. It’s a courtesy that the hotel extends you. We had a time limit to get to train station so I paid him. I have now requested this employee refund my money and he be replaced! I won’t be returning!!

Just returned from stay at Hotel Canali - we were made very welcome by the reception staff all of them very helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel which was good and could be eaten on the terrace which was nice We were hoping to use the HOT tub during our stay at Canali but it has been turned off which was disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked also the lift not working and were told it had had only just broken down but apparently it had not been working for ages so no hot tub or lift the lift was actually working the day before we left.The Hotel is quite away from the centre and only meal served is breakfast . We just paid just over £200.00 a night for the room so not really good value. The rooms are clean and the towels and bedlinen nice and I found my bed comfy.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Canali. The room, balcony & sea view were perfect. Comfortable bed & great shower. A short walk to the main centre & a lovely walk to & from, either via the park or road. The scent in the air, orange, grapefruit, lemon trees, gorgeous. Sitting out on the terrace, with a drink from the bar, after arriving back from a long day was very relaxing. Hotel reception very friendly & helpful. A delicious pizza via room service & a very helpful Francesca. The breakfast was very good quality & lots of choice. A characterful building, the hotel is spotlessly clean & the decor & furnishings are gorgeous. Look forward to returning.

Lovely hotel with friendly & very helpful staff. Very clean & rooms tidied every day. There was a good choice for breakfast. Lovely & quiet & about 10 minutes walk to the front. Would love to stay again.

We came for a night without reservation.Price was high,but we decided that the hotel reviews were good,we will not search smth else (was our mistake).Expensive hotel means not always good hotel quality!Conditioner was not working good at night, in room was hot,smelly.Feeling in the morning was terrible. We went for breakfast with the hope that it would be delicious (to somehow justify this price and 4 stars ),but the breakfast was terrible too..Tainted fruits,juice,milk..Hotel is old and needs renovation. Looks like the owners don’t want to invest money, time to the hotel,to bring good quality. Hotel staff dont want to take responsibilities as an intermediary between management and the client. Hotel staff did nothing to change our awful impression of staying at the hotel.Don’t ruin your trip with staying in this hotel.

I had booked elsewhere, but unfortunately the property had a problem and they offered me a room in this hotel with an extra star for the same price... The hotel is certainly very nice and the staff were friendly, I can't say anything, but. ... I think we gave us a room of convenience because I paid a lower price than the list price... even if it wasn't my choice ... . I say this because the room, although very beautiful and large, is uncomfortable... We are right under the reception and you can hear every single movement and step... The bathroom which is a bathroom accessible to disabled people so a very positive thing, if you take a shower and bathe up to the door because there is no splash guard, not even a mobile one... the slippers given on loan for use were dirty as if they had already been used.... In short, I'm sorry to say it but I'm not satisfied... Beautiful doesn't necessarily mean that everything is fine and everything is perfect and I've seen a lot of hotels lately....
