Upscale resort…reflected in the price (although cheaper than most on the island) More of a resort than an overnighter. Has all the amenities (Indoor-pool/Sauna/Spa) a resort can offer - 1-bedroom units with cooking facilities - well maintained - nice location near beautiful beaches.

Very nice complex with great holiday apartments. Also ideal with a dog. Small gym, swimming pool, wellness, everything is available. The location is very good, not far from the sea. Very good starting point for long walks, a few minutes' drive from Westerland. Great menu on Christmas Eve

Very modern, high-quality holiday complex, beautifully located on the northern edge of Rantum, a bus stop is a minute's walk away. The beautiful beach is about 10 minutes away. Perfect connections even without using a car. The apartments are clean and well equipped and are a comfortable size. The spa area with saunas and whirlpool and the indoor pool contribute to good relaxation. I would also like to mention the always friendly and courteous staff, we felt very welcome again (2nd visit).

I have been going to the TUI BLUE Hotel in Sylt for years. This year was definitely the last year. I would like to start with the absolute negative point. SPA area My son (12 years old) and I like to go to the sauna. At around 5 p.m. my son was told that the "family sauna" was over and that he now had to leave the sauna area. There were also complaints that a child was in the sauna area. I saw the lady who complained again this morning at breakfast. It was the lady who threw the tea bag packaging across the room - strange, people who have no manners complain -. Whatever! I was surprised by the reaction of the employees. I should understand, those are the rules. The employee ended the conversation with the statement "So what". A "no go" for me. Breakfast "You get what you pay for." The breakfast is good for the price. But here too, compromises have been made. I like to drink tea in the morning. Here they switched from loose tea to tea bags. The tea is still of very good quality, Ronnefeldt. But why? They also dispensed with the small bowls for Kluntje. I then had to use a cereal bowl for the Kluntje. Yes, these are small things, but it's annoying. Dinner/buffet I can't comment on it, as I only used it once last year. I wasn't convinced by the quality at the time. Room There are three of us and we have a family room. Everything is fine. Conclusion These are all just small things and I certainly wouldn't have written if it hadn't been for the thing with my son. I go on holiday with the TUI Group several times a year and will continue to do so...just not at TUI BLUE Sylt.

We were delighted with the apartment hotel complex! A beautiful location - just a 1-minute walk to the Wadden Sea and just a 5-minute walk to the two bus stops from where you could travel to the north and south of the island. The hotel itself was very quiet, which ensured a restful sleep. What was striking was the extremely friendly, courteous, very attentive and polite staff in all areas (reception, breakfast room, bar, room cleaning). Our apartment was very spacious and really offered a lot of space. The large windows and the patio door provided a lot of light in the room. The very well-equipped kitchenette was also practical. We were particularly impressed by the creativity - although the spa area was not usable due to renovations, which was also expressly stated on the website (!), they still tried to offer quite a few treatments, which was a very nice idea! Some apartments were lovingly and attractively converted into spa treatment rooms. I was able to experience this during massage treatments and am grateful that such solutions were offered! At this point I would also like to praise and highlight the professionalism of the spa staff! What we also enjoyed to the fullest every day was the extremely extensive breakfast buffet. All tastes were catered for - from Nordic fish, to vegetarian and vegan, to cold and warm, to sweet. The healthy food was striking, such as the daily changing smoothies, greenies, overnight oats, fruit variations, etc. In the evenings, the hotel's own bar invited you to linger. So every evening we enjoyed the beautiful bar atmosphere and ended the day with creative and tasty cocktails. We felt very well looked after, got our money's worth and enjoyed every minute in the hotel area - whether in the apartment, in the breakfast room in the morning, in the bar in the evening or during the spa treatments during the day. If it were possible, we would give more than 5 stars! Thank you very much for this wonderful vacation - for us this vacation definitely belongs in our personal list of the "best" vacations, and the stay at Tui Blue plays a very large part in this! Thank you!!!

The hotel has a great location and the breakfast buffet is also very extensive. Unfortunately, we only found out by chance and in passing when we arrived that the spa area/pool was closed for renovation work. Much to our regret, as we had chosen the hotel for this very reason. Unfortunately, the hotel staff were not very accommodating in the situation. They knew it and they were not responsible for us not knowing. We were told that we had booked through a third party and that there should have been a notice there that the spa was closed. Only after looking more closely did this become apparent in the small print on the third subpage. There was no voluntary accommodation on the part of the hotel and only after insisting were we told that we could use the spa area in another hotel (1 km away). When we got there, it was not possible to use it that day. We were put off until the next day. The request for a small upgrade to Wattblick was also categorically rejected. To make the stay more pleasant, we then booked this at our own expense. The rest of our contact with the staff was not very friendly either. The promised firewood was not there and was only given when we asked. When we asked about a supermarket nearby, we were told no. The nearest one was in Westerland. While we were walking, we happened to come across a supermarket that was open regularly in Rantum (in the village). Despite everything, we had a good time. The apartment was very well equipped and the unobstructed view of the Wadden Sea was fantastic. A little more hospitality and we would have been able to enjoy our stay from the start.

We booked a week with family and friends at TUIBlue Sylt. The reasons for our choice were the swimming pool and spa and the buffet restaurant. With small children, these were the main criteria. The swimming pool is a good alternative for the whole family in bad weather. The buffet makes it much easier with small children and we were looking forward to good food and fun with friends and children. Surprisingly, we were asked to pay the bill when we checked in because it was apparently stored that way on our booking profile. Strangely, this was the first time. But there are reasons why they want money quickly. Unfortunately, both the swimming pool and the buffet restaurant are closed. We were informed about the swimming pool by email 2 weeks before arrival. (Unfortunately too late to find alternatives now, so we just bite the bullet) Our friends had not received any information from the hotel and were not informed about it when we checked in either!!! You check in and get a map of the resort and reception forgets to inform you about something like that? We booked the restaurant for 7 people via the app. When we got to the restaurant in the evening, we found that it was closed despite the confirmed booking. Instead, we were asked to choose an alternative, a 5-course meal at a higher price in the fine dining restaurant with 3 small children. 5 courses with small children is not relaxing for most families. Children simply do not like sitting in one place for 2 hours. The mini market/village shop is no longer there, even though it was advertised everywhere online. There is currently nothing else to buy in the area. For us, this was a complete disappointment and borders on deliberate fraud. We are now turning to Booking because the contractually promised services are simply not available.
