Very nice and cozy little hotel. Extremely service minded staff. Beautiful beach with (sofar) very few people, that is not suited for swimming due to strong currents. Generously laid out rooms (with a bath-tub on the balcony:)). Everything in minimalistic style. Enjoyed it very much. The only negative comment I have is that the pricing of the food and beverages is quite high. Also, the best dishes served are the local ones. Western style food is rather mediocre. Danger ahead: a lot of hotels are being built along the beach right now now, so in a couple of years paradise will be lost.

Property was amazing - so calm and tranquil and wonderful food and staff. We loved it. They were very good at tailoring everything to my friend who had a gluten allergy and nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommend for a unique experience.

I recently stayed at Kayaam House Tangalla and was impressed by the overall experience. The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable, and the food was excellent, showcasing a delightful range of flavors. However, my experience was marred by one staff member, Isiwara. Unfortunately, his attitude and service were very poor, and he was unfriendly throughout our stay. His behavior felt suspicious and unprofessional, which is disappointing given the high standards set by the rest of the team. I would have gladly given a 5-star rating if not for this negative interaction. I hope the management addresses this issue because such behavior can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise great hotel.

Our stay at Kayaam House was the best hotel experience we have had and we will remember it for a long time. The hotel is extremely stylish and has a beautiful location. The kitchen did an exceptional job, every dish was a delight and incredibly tasty. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly to ensure we had a great stay. We also booked an Ayuverda retreat and have never come back from a vacation so refreshed and healthy (many thanks to the massage team, the doctor and our yoga teachers). Very special thanks to Ishan (manager), Arthika, Buddhika and the whole team for these days in paradise. We could not have imagined it any better.

Amazing place, amazing location, amazing food and staff. We stayed for 2 nights in this magnificent hotel, picture perfect!! We didn’t want to go anywhere else or do any visit, just stay and enjoy the hotel. You get a sense of calmness and harmony like never experienced before. We also enjoyed very much the food , exquisite. The best we had in the island by far. The staff is great, since the manager, the chef, and the rest of the staff and specially the young Akitha, who took great care of us at the restaurant!

We spent three nights at Kayaam House and it was perfect. They have put together all the right elements and arrived at a hotel which is even better than the sum of its parts. The service, food, ambience, decor: all are just right. The ground floor room we had was very comfortable. The only thing I would like is some kind of devise which would afford a little more privacy, as the side facing the pool was one huge window and all could look in unless we pulled down the blind. The pool is large and useful as it's often not a good idea to swim in the sea, especially after the morning. The beach is long and uncrowded compared with some beaches further west and north.

Absolutely phenomenal stay from start to finish. We chose this hotel over a larger resort and we are so glad we did. The hotel manager Hemal helps deliver, with his fantastic team, an absolutely perfect stay. The food is excellent, the property stunning and the ambiance intimate and special. We stayed for 5 nights and would have stayed for longer if we could have. Their spa is also very good and the massage from Susantha was excellent. A premium property offering outstanding service perfect for anyone that wants to feel special and well looked after.
