Over the past three years, we have often stayed at "Over the Moon" guest house. The hospitality is outstanding, and Christine always makes us feel right at home. We even have 'our room', which is always spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we need. We especially appreciate the attention to detail, from the cosy decor to the little extras that always make our stay so enjoyable. The location is perfect for us. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing, yet close to everything. Breakfast is delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. We highly recommend this very special guest house, and when returning to Johannesburg, "Over the Moon" is where we will stay! Thank you, Christene.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Christine and Nick for taking such good care of us and our family during our stay! We went to Johannesburg for medical purposes and Over the Moon was our little happy place to go back to after long days. The house and the view are magnificent and Christine so helpful! We will definitely come back! Do not hesitate to go and enjoy a lovely stay there.

The place has an amazing view of the city. The swimming pool is its greatest attraction. It offers a personal experience by sending necessary messages via WhatsApp. It is also happy to accommodate any other special request(s) that the guests may have to ensure that they thoroughly enjoy their stay.

One of the best views in the area for any guest house or hotel. The owners and staff are wonderful people who make you feel at home and are hands-on with making sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. They are present throughout the day and accomidate each guest's needs individually. The rooms and entire property are pristine, modern and meticulously kept up. The area is safe and quiet, yet conveniently located. I have stayed here multiple times and will again for any future trips to the city.

If I could rate Over The Moon a 10 I would! Luxuriously furnished large room and bathroom with beautiful views of the Johannesburg skyline. Lush gardens and great outdoor space. Yummy breakfast. Christine is the perfect hostess, we had a late arrival and very early departure and she welcomed us and seen us leave with the biggest smile. I would most definitely stay again and would recommend it. Thank you Christine

I went for several days for business trip. Very quiet and safe place, no noice from traffic at all.. you can hear the birds. A pleasure to sleep with the windows opened. The view is just amazing . The room has a large terrace to enjoy view while relaxing or working. Great place to see the sunset and have a different perspective of the city (full of trees) House and room are extremely clean. Nice place, very comfortable. Good quality furnitures/bed. Bathrooms was super clean, big and bright. The owner really took good care of me and did everything so I could feel home. Also finding places for dinner and lunch Good breakfast. good wifi. Fully recommend Over the moon guesthouse

What a perfect location and I can’t say enough about the service. 6 stars if you could do that. Christine and her lovely staff were the perfect end to our one month stay in South Africa. The first thing that takes your breath away, is the stunning view, looking out to the Magaliesberg Mountains, over the green, northern suburbs. Framed by trees and foliage that are rich in birdlife - just watching the purple-crested turaco, in that flash of their russet-red undersides - flit from tree to tree is truly amazing. A haven of calm and peace, itself a real treat in our modern, hectic World, marks Over the Moon as well above the average, and wonderfully warm welcome from all the staff, led by Christine, is simply superb. Rooms first class, and very spacious cater for every need and creature comfort and the breakfasts, freshly made to order, are of the same outstanding level. We are lucky, we get to travel far, wide and often, both within South Africa and beyond - on any measure Over the Moon is truly exceptional.
