I called the same day I booked to request a downstairs room. I was assured I’d get a downstairs room. When I checked in, I reconfirmed it was a downstairs room and they said they’d given me an upstairs room. I asked them if they could give me a downstairs room and they said they didn’t have any. The South Asian manager said very insincerely, “Sorry,” while the desk agent said nothing at all. They didn’t even offer me any discount off my booking or a voucher towards a future stay. NOT recommended.
